News bulletin for news outlets, just because MS has primarily black voters in Democratic districts doesn’t make the conversation about race.

To paraphrase Carville, It’s the Democrats, Stupid!

Did he ever say “just black precincts”?

Just like Sarah Palin said you could see Russia from her back yard.

Oh wait . . .

Correct, as reported by the NY Slimes: http://www.nytimes.com/2014/06/23/us/conservatives-plan-to-use-poll-watchers-in-mississippi.html?_r=0

I consider the New York Times to be a disreputable source. They Lie. Deliberately.

The audit is apparently turning up a substantial number of voters who voted democrat in the primary and were allowed to vote again in the runoff. This is in Hines County (Jackson). Saying the democrat turnout was because of poll watchers is exactly as you say, blame the victim. The Tea Party and conservatives will be blamed for Cochran’s loss in November as well. The democrats will be energized by this and there will be a pipeline of money to them as well as a number of voters who believe the were cheated and stabbed in the back, as they were who mat stay home or vote a write in which is a no vote, that’s what I’m going to do. The gop has lost a Senate seat in Mississippi through their own chicanery.

Republicans still get to be the minority party, a roll they seem to relish in and prefer to majority party and as a bonus they will get to blame and excoriate Conservatives and the Tea Party for their losses because they had the audacity to challenge them.

That's it. They can spin it all they like when they lose, but it all began with them.

No one says you have to have the intelligence of a frog to vote. “One mouth-breathing idiot, one vote.” That’s exactly why the founders did not want this country to be a democracy. It enables the lowest common denominator to choose as leaders the best snake oil salesmen.

I honestly think they’d rather “lose” the seat to a fellow elitist, even though he’s a ‘rat, than to lose it to a conservative.

To our way of thinking, true.

But to a community that has had several generations indoctrinated with identity politics that believe that one can't be "black" without also being "Democrat" ... ?

Ah, but they’ll still blame YT.

Sure. YT is to blame for everything. Doesn’t matter if it’s Haiti, Sudan,
Detroit, or Mars, it’s YT’s fault.

That’s because a real conservative rocks their little boat on the Potomac.

Did he ever say “just black precincts”?

Of course not. The SCF in DC said "heavy Democrat districts".

I was not familiar with the expression but I believe YT means whitey. I was relying to a post and it is my guess that’s what it means.

When you say “substantial” do you mean enough to account for the margin of victory by Cochran?

I think the saddest thing of all is that is America, in the year 2014, we cannot even hold a Statewide election without excoriating one another. Turning against each other in our own Party. Manipulations. Walking around money. Welcome to Guatemala...

I don’t have a number but enough to warrant a complete audit and to call the Mississippi Republican Party Chairman’s office and have him ask the county chairmen to delay certification until this is done. If there were 10,000 I don’t know what would happen.

The more I see and hear the more I am considering voting for and supporting Travis Childers. I know it is crazy but I sometimes think it would be worth it to tell Haley Barbour “take that”. And I say Haley because I don’t think Thad knows what day it is.
