Which will also not buy a coffee, but it is nice of you to match the stake.
I don’t bother googling him. I prefer milnet - words from the horses mouth, rather than Google which is all too frequently words from the horses rear, filtered through the bowels of the MSM.
The words are damning. I am inclined to accept them, considering the massive risk his squad mates are taking by speaking up, as I have said multiple times both on this thread and in other places. Yet which part of “innocent until proven guilty” don’t you get?
Thought we conservatives were for the rule of law, not mob rule. Bergdahl should get his day in court. He should be tried, and if the evidence is there (it is, by all current reports), found guilty and punished to the full extent of the law. I will pull the trigger myself, if he is as guilty as it seems and gets his just reward. Until then, I withhold judgement and don’t let this fustercluck distract from the rest of the treasonous behavior of the amateurs in the White House.
I don’t know about you, but this false flag screw up is no where near as important to me as 40 vets, who are owed all, dying while waiting to be seen by the VA just to pad some managers bonus, or the 60 bodies of vets slowly rotting in a morgue for a year without an honorable burial.
It is insignificant compared to the sheer horror of abandoning 4 good men to their fate then lying about it.
My two cents is up to 4 cents.

PJ - that is a huge fear being raised. That he will skate to protect the Worm in the White House.
I have to believe there are still enough senior officers with the integrity to do what is right, not what is politically expedient.
Look - I have been on both sides of the bench in full courts martial, as well as Lord alone knows how many times dealing Administrative punishment for relatively minor offenses. I simply can not accept that Obama has completely corrupted the system of military justice in a mere 6 years.
If that makes me a foolish optimist - leave me the odd illusion.
You've seen the purging of top military officers, right? On the one hand, it removes those who have the integrity that you want, because that integrity is what Obama has called "lack of confidence" as his excuse for removal. On the other hand, it sends a message to the rest who still hope to aspire to top leadership.
I simply can not accept that Obama has completely corrupted the system of military justice in a mere 6 years.
You mean like he's destroyed the insurance industry in 6 years? Health care in 6 years? Ranching? Farming? Student loans? Mortgages? Coal? Allied relations? Race relations? Immigration? Militarized bureaucracies?
Do I need to go on?

The soldiers' freedom of speech rights were suppressed by their cowardly leaders.
Lemon later hypothesized that Bergdahl had been sucked into a black hole while on patrol.
Tevye had his limits. Officers do too.
I know - its not the military we were in, and certainly not the military our fathers knew. I just got to hope, since the alternative is too horrible to think of.
One of the thing which has encouraged me in the last few days is actually the people coming forward and telling their stories. There is still honor there. Substantial amounts of it. I just hope there is still sufficient honor in the upper levels of the brass.
Tevye had his limits.
I suppose five daughters would do that to anyone. :-)

Good post!
Obama has made two bad mistakes - related to each other. He screwed up the VA, despite being on the VA committee during his “voting present” phase, and making it part of his ‘08 platform. Now this.
He’s used to political thuggery. He has no Effing clue how badly enlisted, non-coms and officers can joyfully screw up politicians at the slightest whim.
Not backing off on my previous point - I want Bergdahl to have a fair and honest court martial. I wish to hear his personal testimony and watch his eyes as he says it.
Yet I will take pleasure in Obama biting off way more than he can chew on this.
But I was sure everyone in DCyestan said that the deserting traitorist piece of shite was one his last goat.
Ed
There will not be a court martial.
The Obama administration cannot afford it.
And then they can be told to shut up because it’s “old news”.
Ed
Fortunately, I think that is not the case this time. Obama has lost Chrissy Tingles over this - that has got to be bad optics for a WH that is more style than substance.
I don't give a 'Rats ass about Bergdahl. He doesn't matter.
This is about the Commander in Chief and all who have a D after their name!
How does a fish rot?
Yet he does matter. Either he is guilty of what is being suggested - desertion, aid and comfort to the enemy, treason - or he broke under the strain and is being tucked under the Obama pajama boy blanket.
I am not going to blame a guy for breaking. Been there, done that - almost. You are talking half a whiskers worth of faith stopping it happening. It’s not pleasant. His squad leader or CO should have caught it, if that were the case. They ain’t there for decoration.
If he knowingly and willingly deserted - I’ll shoot the sod myself. Even provide my own rounds.
I dislike something which is internal discipline being made into a circus by the biggest freaking coward to ever sit at the Resolute desk. I ask you - can you think of any other President that would pull this crap? Ever?
How will you see his eyes if he testifies? You think any court-martial (if any is even ever convened) would be on HLN or something? Get real.
I'm inclined to agree with the others on this thread who have pegged you as an Obot operative.
