If Obama had a son, he’d be just like Mike Sam. But he wouldn’t play football.

That grossed me out on several levels. I need to put down the Kindle and walk away for a little while.

Remember, you cannot showboat or spike the football in the NFL, unless you are a homosexual activist. Then dance on...

Heavens to Mergatroid.
Why don't we just cut to the chase and award the guy the Rookie of the Year Award, the NFL MVP and Superbowl MVP.
While we're at it. Give him the Cy Young Award and the Stanley Cup.
I watched very little football last year. I will watch even less this year.

The President congratulates Michael Sam, the Rams and the NFL for taking an important step forward today in our Nations journey. From the playing field to the corporate boardroom, LGBT Americans prove everyday that you should be judged by what you do and not who you are, a White House official emailed to ABC News.We ARE judging them by what they do!

In a major story carried by all the media, 255 of the players in the NFL draft were reported NOT to be openly gay.

(Liberals make unrealistic demands on reality and reality doesn't oblige them.)
And the fact that Sam’s love interest comes from a line of convicted mobsters and sports bookies gets zero coverage . . . I guess that inconvenient fact doesn’t fit the narrative.

The bottom line is that things all depend on the players on other teams that face him. They may choose to put him on the disabled list, they may treat him like an ordinary opponent, or they might refuse to even touch him.
This last one could get interesting. It would start by running all plays on the other side of the formation, which is easy to do as he is a defensive end. That is, never throw a ball to the offensive receiver on his side. This denies him any glory at all.
If their coach gets upset and demands they run plays on his side, they can just toss him a softball and not chase him, as he scores three or four 70 yard touchdowns unopposed. This would enrage the bookies, who have a lot of pull.
The bottom line is either by cutting him off or making him look like nobody wants to play with him, he is ostracized. So he turns into a big negative for the league, and takes a lot of the fun out of the game.

I wonder if either one of those young men is actually homosexual or if they saw a hole and thought they’d fill it. Niche Marketing, as it were. I’ve known my fair share of mafia types and I’ve never met a gay one.
