FYI some systems are dysfunctional and some are corrupt but others work just fine. It also may depend on your approach. Bullying people and making demands doesn’t usually work no matter how much you think you’re owed something. Maybe if you had lived in Canada or England, you might have died, because there are longer delays for care in some cases in those countries than there are here. But you didn’t. You’re here. And you’re alive. So count your blessings instead of bragging about how you “destroyed a few peoples careers.” It’s not a very endearing trait.

I was being ignored. Big difference. When the ENT tells me I am going to have a stroke and die at anytime I had to do what I needed to do to live. I dealt with interference and careless disregard but I made even more friends because I never gave up. The folks at UA in Birmingham keep in touch and let me know I can go back there at anytime if I needed.

The people I destroyed were not helping me or anyone else. A Nurse thanked me for getting rid of one person. The idiot had a bad rep and was callous, I wonder how many cancer patients suffered because of him. I found the right person who removed him and other people got the care they needed.

You never had met this person, it needed to be done. I explained to the rep that if this person treated me like this he also treated other patients the same way. My complaint was the last straw. In the sequester their former office was shut down. It took a General to do that, so can tell they weren't very popular.

Anyway I am glad you are happy with your VA experience but this incident turned me into an unofficial patient rep. 1st Shirt Training has gave me the skills to help other folks outside of the military. If you find a good medical facility stay with it. I am happy with the facility that I have. I am concerned about the treatment of my fellow vets, now its time for people to go to jail.
