I know many FReepers aren't fans of rap music, and Brian Williams or Jimmy Fallon as well. But Fallon does a montage of Williams' clips to the beat of Snoop Dogg's 1993 "Gin and Juice" song. Needless to say, it is off da hook!
LOL that’s pretty good.
“With my mind on my money, and my money on my mind.”
You could do this with any nightly show. It’s not that special.
Rap music will be forgotten so fast it would make one's head spin.
For me, rap music is talking with rhythm, nothing more. No melodies, just words. It's also an African-American vehicle where whites are not welcome...if the past is to be believed.
It also is so often just a gripe. There is no joy or hope there, just anger and frustration. Not a great deal to celebrate...imho.
Music is SUPPOSED to be uplifting.
Who is this guy? They do this on the national news now?
Probably took a person an entire week of work to create this 60 second clip.
Not a fan of rap, but I do think this is good:
Eminem Lose Yourself...

That’s Funny!....catchy tune.
First rap song to hit number one? Blondie’s “Rapture”. What rap group sold the most albums between 1991 to present? Beastie Boys. Best selling rapper performing today? Marshall Mathers aka Eminem. Whites might not be welcome but they sure helped build rap and hip-hop.
Wally Rap--Wally George
Music is supposed to be ‘uplifting’?? LMAO.
Play It Cool--The Spaniels (1954)
Bacon Fat--Andre Williams & the Don Juans (1957)
How to Do the Bacon Fat--The Five Dollars (1957)
Rap is crap. The C is silent.
Why give any credit to Fallon? This is the work of some unknown tape editor working at NBC.
What is the joke there?
The music I listen to is.
Of course, I don't listen to rap.
