Other than hitting the perfect tee shot, nothing is more gratifying than the sight of liberals hoisted on a petard fashioned by their own corruption. In May of 2011, anti-gun lunatic Garry McCarthy was named Chicago Police Superintendent by mayor and former Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel. Though making all of the usual promises about reducing the city’s crime rate, during his first full year–2012–Chicago recorded 507 murders, the most since 2008 and more than in any year since 2003.
Of course, more important than 507 dead was the fact that Emanuel’s approval rate seemed to decline another notch with the discovery of each new corpse.
So in January of 2013, Emanuel had a friendly sit-down with his police superintendent during which McCarthy was told that a repeat of the 2012 murder statistics would find him packing.
And low and behold, a miracle occurred. In December of 2013, Emanuel and McCarthy called a joint press conference to inform Chicagoans that...

Altering the results for the UCR (Uniform Crime Rate) handled by the FBI is a federal offense. Good Grief!
When you go to the city comparisons online, and pull up two cities to compare economy, housing, and crime, etc you are being told this city is more safer than it is, appalling.
That means certain neighborhoods that should be avoided by using the city data detailed info, along with city comparison risks that compare to the overall US average is just wrong information, so the person moving there is going to be deceived and dangerously at risk with bogus low numbers. The real criminals are Emmanuel and the Man cheating on his UCR reports to the FBI.
The Chicago Way, lied, deceive, and provide this Administration cover for how their policies are failing!

Wow. Whodathunkit? All along I thought the only way to reduce crime would be to no longer make it illegal. Instead, all you have to do is not report it. Problem solved either way...
That is not unusual. One state a few years back demoted 1st time auto theft to misdomeanor status due to the high number of auto thefts occuring. It had the effect of lowering the felony rate quite a bit.

I went to court to get a traffic ticket dismissed. It was for expired registrarion that wasent. Judge tossed the ticket then hit me with 40 dollars in court fees.. I was not happy at all.. I would have been money ahead if I had just paid the ticket (100 bucks) and worked the 5 hours I sat in that court room.
Oh I could tell you some stories that would make your hair stand on end.
One thing happening in two counties here...traffic court will have hundreds show up with tickets written, then no judge (preplanned) and then they get to pay ticket fines of $? and court costs of $283.00 without representation.
The ones who want a ‘Prayer for Judgment’ that protects license and insurance must see a judge so only they get to have a continuance. After so many continuances and no judge...well pay the fines and court costs is the attitude of the county. Imagine the income revenue!

Chicago’s top cop likens gun lobby’s influence to corruption
McCarthy in the past has blamed “government-sponsored racism” and Sarah Palin for Chicago’s gun violence. He has been outspoken in his opposition to handgun proliferation, telling a radio panel last month he equates fewer guns with improved public safety.
“When people say concealed carry, I say Trayvon Martin,” McCarthy said, referring to the Florida teen who was shot and killed last February by a neighborhood watch volunteer, sparking controversy across the country. “I say Trayvon Martin because the answer to guns is not more guns, and just simply putting guns in people’s hands is going to lead to more tragedy.”
McCarthy backs banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, requiring background checks for anyone who buys a gun, mandatory reporting of the sale, transfer, loss or theft of a gun and mandatory minimum prison sentences for people convicted of illegally possessing a gun.

Superintendent McCarthy gives us a shining example of pandering to a segment of society at the cost of the rest. in this video of him in a heavily-liberal, mainly-black church making a case for gun rights as a race issue.
Wandering around like a misplaced evangelist, Garry McCarthy also tried to implicate Sarah Palin in the inner-city mayhem. Recalling a situation in Newark, NJ where five people were shot, McCarthy said said he went home to relax and found “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” on the T.V.
“She was caribou hunting and talking about the right to bear arms. Why wasn’t she at the crime scene with me?”
