I like those other “macaroni mixes” too. Linguine with broccoli and white cheese sauce, shell macaroni with herbs etc. Under 1$ pouches solve another storage problem too.

NO cats eaten! Lots of canned chicken and tuna available. I have never eaten one of the small Hormel meat meals but they have been recommended too.( might be microwave?)

Yes, those are good for one or two people, and cheap and don’t take much storage room. I need to get more of those. Thanks for the reminder.

Our Country Mart has their brand at $1/3 boxes. They also have sales of 4 boxes for a buck. I pick up some of those now and then, I have a whole bunch of recipes that I can use for those.

During the lean years we used to eat these a lot. Now we don’t use them so much, but they do give you a quick meal with lots of carb satisfaction if not so much nutritional.
Adding a little meat, tomatoes, and fresh veggies makes a nice filling meal with better nutrition than simply eating the mac and cheese. So I keep some stocked.
