To date, a reported 50,016 people have guaranteed the eventual confiscation of their firearms by obeying the “Assault Weapons” registration requirements of Connecticut’s new gun law.
But according to a 2011 study commissioned by the Connecticut Office of Legislative Research it is estimated that more than 300,000 additional weapons have NOT been registered, their owners refusing to relinquish either their semi-auto rifles OR their liberty to Connecticut lawgivers. (Given recent record sales years that 300,000 could today be 400,000 or more.)
So in spite of the threats of Connecticut’s left-wing politicos to imprison those with the courage to defy unconstitutional legislation, the overwhelming majority of gun owners in the Constitution State have effectively told their elected officials to shove it.
And it’s this wholesale repudiation of unjust legislation that spells disaster for lawmakers in Connecticut as it will...

Criminals are their allies because they keep the gun issue alive. The most likely scenario is to ignore those who are not complying, but to selectively prosecute the daylights out of a few individuals in highly publicized cases. The left loves making examples and impoverishing gun owners with law-fare. The question is, will Connecticut voters throw any Democrats out of office over this? I suspect not as the left can live with levels of cognitive dissonance that would be lethal could they be achieved by conservatives.

I can't understand why anyone would find it acceptable for the police to dress up exactly like the military. The cop in the picture could easily pass for a combat infantryman.
A free society should not tolerate such an obvious attempt to intimidate the public. But of course the opposite will happen. In time, we'll just get used to it.

I saw a tractor trailer pulling a load of these down I-85 two months ago through SC.
While they come to our houses we won’t be home...we’ll be at their houses. Attack our families and see whose family is attacked.
And the 300 (nice) would have nothing to fear but for the 50k who bent over like 5th grade schoolboys to take their whacks. Shame forever on the 50k! Any freepers going to own it? God forbid.
I think they’ll try to make a few examples, empty bluff unless the rest cave.
Usually those are the same empty holster police that never served in the military and act like thugs that want to play soldier and dress-up to impress someone that they are tough guys.
