Lee pointed the finger at white New Yorkers who have moved into historically black neighborhoods and changed the environment, arguing that those changes have caused the areas to evolve into something completely different.

Why isn't he pointing the finger at the black New yorkers who moved into historically white neighborhoods and changed everything?

I drove through the Brooklyn neighborhood I grew up in back in September.......I cried.

I used to live in Fort Greene. My wife and I had a garden apartment in what was essentially the basement of a brownstone owned by a Chinese couple.

One night we came from working our jobs in Manhattan restaurants and found that someone had chiseled the wrought iron bars out of the brownstone surrounding a window, broken in and stolen some of our meager belongings. This was after numerous run-ins with Spike Lee's soul brothers, one of whom tried to open a door to our car while my wife was at a stop sign.
