While Cruz announces his war against the administration's climate regulations the House GOP will be dissecting them during a hearing on the clean-coal technologies supporting the rule. And later this week House Republicans will hold a hearing on the "secret science" upon which they say the rules are built.

Prostituting Science "...."Science changed dramatically in the 1970s, when the reward structure in the profession began to revolve around the acquisition of massive amounts of taxpayer funding that was external to the normal budgets of the universities and federal laboratories. In climate science, this meant portraying the issue in dire terms, often in alliance with environmental advocacy organizations. Predictably, scientists (and their institutions) became addicted to the wealth, fame, and travel in the front of the airplane:

"A new and rewarding research lifestyle emerged which involved the giving of advice to all types and levels of government, the broadcasting of unchallengeable opinion to the general public, and easy justification for attendance at international conferences -- this last in some luxury by normal scientific experience, and at a frequency previously unheard of."......

Climate Change’s Inherent Uncertainties "Virtually all scientists directly involved in climate prediction are aware of the enormous uncertainties associated with their product. How is it that they can place hands over hearts and swear that human emissions of carbon dioxide are wrecking the planet?"

I want 50 nuclear plants. One in each state. Dams for flood control and to hold water for drought and recreation. Oil drilling everywhere.

I hate politicians. They are such weasels that they keep man from moving forward.
