I was on one or more of the NBC sites, that explained what kind of number a foreign student would use -in lieu of- an SS card bearing an assigned lifetime number.

Either the first three numbers were alphabetical characters like XXX, or it was a longer number (10 numbers or more) with identical characters or numbers like 4444, or a default set of characters or numbers, meaning they were the same for everyone (the first 3 or 4 #’s) like 1000 or 0000.

I can’t remember if there was any tie-in code wise, as to identifying the school where the student attended classes, by way of the first 3 or 4 numbers in the series. I think the school instructed the student on what number to use... there’s been so many good sites doing their own work that it all runs together, and I failed to link to them at the time visited. Doh!

It leads me to the conclusion they have groomed and selected more than a few of these guys. Some make it to office. Some to high office. What becomes of the unlucky one's, we will likely never know.

Yep. For the cost of a few fighter jets a hostile country can sponsor tens of thousands of future quislings.

Here's another potential connection to the USSR.

Obama story is that he visited Pakistan the summer of 81, before attending Columbia for 2 years.

Facts:
1) Obama traveled to Asia the summer of 81.
2) Obama graduated from Columbia, this is according to the Student Clearing House, which also showed Obama as attending only one year, Fall 82 to Summer 83.
3) Many at Columbia, who should have known Obama, claim they did not meet him there, including Prof Henry Graff, who taught classes required of all pre-law and pol-sci students.
4) Soon after Obama was elected, the wikipedia entry for the Patrice Lumumba Peoples Freedom University in Moscow, was updated to show Obama as an alumni - it was soon updated to remove him, and the prior update was claimed to be a joke.

In my opinion this all makes sense.

In 1981, Obama did not just travel to Indonesia, and Pakistan to visit, he continued on to Moscow and attended the PFU in Moscow. Remember when Obama was elected to the Senate, he visited Russia on a Senate trip, and was detained - that is a VERY drastic action. I believe it has something to do with this. I would image that the Russian intelligence would want to gather whatever they could about any foriegn diplomat, it's possible they checked his fingerprints against their data, and up pops a kid from FPU! I'm sure that would pique their interest, and cause them to do something as drastic as detain a sitting US Senator.

When Obama transferred to Columbia, he did not just transfer his credits from Occidental, he also transferred credits from the PFU. This is why he only required one year at Columbia.

I just ran into something a little interesting. Since you asked about the ring, I did some rereading of old stories about the ring. WND had a story about Obama's ring having script 'no God but Allah' written on it. I never found that story convincing, but it was strange, when I finished the story, there was some comments by an obot from 6 hours ago. The prior comments were all at least a month old. That might be indicative of the obots trying to head off a story about the ring.

I've always thought, since I found out about the ring, that for some reason that is his prized possession. He's worn it as long as he's been an adult, he wouldn't tell anyone at Harvard why he wore the ring, and Michelle even allowed him to wear it as his wedding ring.

That ring is tied directly to who Obama is, both ideology wise, and (IMHO) genetically.

None of the above. The talk show hosts seem to have decided that any of this material, even mentioned as a news item, will adversely affect gold bar and sleep- number bed sales oppoprtunities.

Public awareness? Try a simple test: Ask anyone you know who Reggie Love is, or ask someone from the 'hood if they know that Barry be on the down low.

Does the name Sheriff Joe ring a bell anywhere but around here? Frank Marshall Davis? Communists? Ancient history. Not interesting to an electorate who either look like extras on Duck Dynasty or who know more about the Beatles than they know about the Boston Tea Party.

What was really striking to me was listening to Dr. Kengor describe how he used a hard copy of Dreams to follow along with the audiobook, and that although "Frank" had been mentioned in Dreams fourteen times, in every single instance where he should have been mentioned in the audiobook version, when the audio got to the relevant sections, those parts were skipped over.

Weird. It's almost like they're desperate to airbrush FMD out of "Obama's" life narrative.
