Although a little crass, these girls make more cogent points than the sports analysts I've heard regarding who should coach the Cleveland Browns...(Video)

Good video.... But Tressel isn’t the answer. The Browns better hire a proven NFL coach who won’t be looking over his shoulder all year long.

I’ve been a Browns fan for far too long and I’m tired of them trying to reinvent the wheel. Just offer Cowher or Gruden more money than they can refuse. Why bring in a college coach who will have to learn the NFL game as we rebuild yet again?

Ten year girls seem to reflect the intellectual capacity of the majority of population of the USA in 2014 so why not?

College coaches can have great success like Pete Carroland Chip Kelly to name a few. Jim Tressel is a brilliant man and a serious leader. He would succeed.

I admit I am partial as I have been saying that he is destined to coach the Browns since he began coaching at Ohio State. I was a big fan of his since he was at Youngstown State.

I long held the belief that he is the man destined to break the “Cleveland Curse”.

“Ten year girls seem to reflect the intellectual capacity of the majority of population of the USA in 2014 so why not?”

I beg to differ. You must not have watched the video because if you had, you would know that these girls BLASTED OBAMACARE less than 30 seconds into the video.

So these girls obviously exceed the majority of the US population in intelligence.

They’re going to hire Josh McDaniels. Their minds have been made up for weeks.

Josh McDaniels. So let me get this straight. Browns management are so enchanted by the narrative that McDaniel’s who has a diminutive track record and proven
failure – but as the argument goes “he’s FROM THE STATE OF OHIO AND HE’S THE SON OF A LEGENDARY FOOTBALL COACH”.

So if these people are so enchanted by that pitch, why would they not hire the guy who actually
-— IS -— a legendary coach from OHIO with a demonstrable track record of national championships everywhere he goes by the name of JIM TRESSEL and who would no doubt make himself available????

I have seen their enemy and it is success.

After pulling for this team since 1980 when I was the age of these charming girls, I am just about finally over this team and the perpetual buffoonery. If they fall for yet another impetuous, dim-witted sales pitch like the aforementioned McDaniels narrative, I’m done with them. They will in doing so prove that idiocy transcends even ownership.

10 year old girls?

Anyone who seriously takes football advice from 10-year old girls should not be taken seriously.

I’m guessing browns management take advice from chimps right now so ten yr old girls is a considerable step up.

but as the argument goes “he’s FROM THE STATE OF OHIO AND HE’S THE SON OF A LEGENDARY FOOTBALL COACH”.

The argument I'm hearing is that he's simply a coach with strong ties to Lombardi. I suppose with Lombardi, that's probably the most important asset.

After pulling for this team since 1980 when I was the age of these charming girls, I am just about finally over this team and the perpetual buffoonery

I was the age of those charming girls as well and my dad took me to Red Right 88 where I froze my butt off (went to "the drive" and the Jets double overtime as well). My dad and I joke to this day that he probably should have gotten charged for taking me to that game.

After having season's tickets in the family since the late 50's (grandma had them and we inherited them), my dad has decided for the first time to give up the tickets. It's just no fun to go down there any more and he gets suckered out of over 1k per year plus the original cost of his PSL to see such chaos.

The only light I see is that a local reporter asked Haslam if he could assure the fans that the "Three Stooges" weren't running the franchise. With Haslam's ego, I'm hoping that might spur some positive change.

That’s the problem. They could hire the best coach out there abd if the y finish @.500 or slightly worse they will fire him. I can’t for the life of me figure out the idiots running that organization. It’s like they have a constant death wish.

They bring in McDaniels. McDaniels brings in Tebow. Browns win the Suberbowl. It could happen.

Interesting possibility. Bring plodding run oriented offense and stalwart defense to the AFC North. NEVER go for it on 4th down even if it is only inches.

Every free agent fullback in the league will see the Browns as Nirvana.

Carrol had a mixed record prior to landing in Seattle... showing that his first HC job and the next were where he learned the ropes. He also had some NFL experience prior to landing the head jobs. Tressel does not.

I wouldn’t call Chip Kelly a great success this year. Yes, the Eagles are in the playoffs but the NFC East was a train wreck. We’ll see how he does going forward.

I see Tressel as another Mike Shanahan... too stubborn and old-school to be successful leading today’s players.

Besides, I don’t want to watch a team of gentlemen on Sunday, I want to watch a team of killers who try to destroy the other team on every play. Tressel isn’t putting that team on the field every Sunday.
