Prince Charles Speaks Out for Persecuted Christians

Credit where it's due. Notorious goofball he may be, but Prince Charles hit the nail on the head this time.

At a Christmas reception for Middle East Christians at Clarence House yesterday, the prince made an impassioned statement on behalf of the persecuted in which he not only pleaded for the victims but named their persecutors:

“I have for some time now been deeply troubled by the growing difficulties faced by Christian communities in various parts of the Middle East,” he said.

“It seems to me that we cannot ignore the fact that Christians in the Middle East are increasingly being deliberately targeted by fundamentalist Islamist militants.”

In a reference to the Christmas story, he added: “Christianity was literally born in the Middle East and we must not forget our Middle Eastern brothers and sisters in Christ.

“Their church communities link us straight back to the early church as I was reminded by hearing Aramaic, our Lord's own language spoken and sung just a few hours ago.

“Yet today the Middle East and North Africa has the lowest concentration of Christians in the world - just four per cent of the population and it is clear that the Christian population has dropped dramatically over the last century and is falling still further.

“This has an effect on all of us, although of course primarily on those Christians who can no longer continue to live in the Middle East.

“We all lose something immensely and irreplaceably precious when such a rich tradition dating back 2,000 years begins to disappear.”

Speaking personally, he added: “For 20 years I have tried to build bridges between Islam and Christianity and to dispel ignorance and misunderstanding.

“The point though surely is that we have now reached a crisis where the bridges are rapidly being deliberately destroyed by those with a vested interest in doing so.

“This is achieved through intimidation, false accusation and organised persecution including upon Christian communities in the Middle East at the present time.”

Prince Charles joins a long line of world leaders who have come to the defense of Christians under attack by the blood- thirsty Muslim Brotherhood.

Chief among leaders is Egyptian General Abdel al-Sisi---who drove the Muslim Brotherhood out of Egyptian politics----and has vowed to rebuild the 63 churches torched by Muslims. Al-Sisi is revered by workaday Egyptians who consider the M/B to be terrorists.

As the post-Morsi crisis unfolded, Gen al-Sisi was joined in his effort by China and Russia (Putin is a committed Christian) in decrying The Muslim Brotherhood's attack on Egyptian Christian's churches, homes and businesses.

Moreover, last summer, the Saudis, the Kuwaitis and the UA Emirates deposited over $12 billion in Egyptian government accounts as a down payment.....w/ more $$aid to come to support Gen al-Sisi's anti-Muslim Brotherhood effort.

Alas, one leader is notable absent from this effort---that would be US President Obama. He vengefully exerted financial pressure by “cutting” US military aid to Egypt... but it's NOT working.

China, Russia and the Arabs stood foursquare by Egypt and in the process smacked down Qatar, the Turkish M/B, Erdogan....AND, most of all, the Islamofascist Obama administration.

REFERENCE At the Hay Literary festival in Wales, author and PBS historian, Niall Ferguson, spent much of his time dissing Obama's "smart power" speech delivered in Cairo in 2009......describing it as "touchy feely nonsense"...

Ferguson has sent out warnings about Obama's failure to come to terms with what Ferguson sees as the potential rise of the Muslim brotherhood in Egypt and the possible "restoration of the caliphate and the strict application of Sharia"........themes at the heart of this new book "Civilization: The West and the Rest"...............

Ferguson's standpoint is that Western dominance has been a progressive civilizing force.....his new book reinforces these arguments postulating that there were six killer "apps" which propelled the West to a position of predominance.

These were competition, science, property, modern science, consumption and work ethic, each with a dedicated chapter in the book.

Ferguson contrasts how China was the world's most advanced civilization in the 15th century but stagnated and was overtaken by Dutch mercantilism and the rise of capitalism employing the six "skills".

In his books, and on his compelling PBS series "Civilization," Ferguson lists "morality" as a strategic strength of Western Civilization. He points out the successful Chinese business city Wenzou also has 1,400 churches.

WHAT HAS THIS GOT TO DO WITH HILLARY? There is a move afoot to return Muslim Brother Morsi to power---- b/c Hillary is running scared. BUT Morsi is an also-ran. Egyptians are going to elect Egyptian Gen Abdel al-Sisi. Egyptians consider the M/B to be terrorists --- and they revere Gen al Sisi who drove the Muslim Brotherhood out of Egyptian politics.

(A.) That would be Egyptian Gen Abdel al-Sisi who drove blood-thirsty Muslims out of Egyptian politics and has vowed to rebuild the 63 churches torched by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Right now, sitting in an Egyptian jail is a man al-Sisi arrested for inciting terrorism. That man is Gehad al Hadad....once employed by the tax-exempt Clinton Foundation.

THE CLINTONS IN-HOUSE MUSLIM TERRORIST the Clintons tax-exempt foundation employed a Muslim Brotherhood activist.

Gehad also knows how the Muslim Brotherhood launders money to finance terrorism, using "tax-exempt foundations."

As far as I know, Egypt does not have any limitations on obtaining information from terrorists---like prohibiting waterboarding, etc.
