To be consistent, I oppose police brutality in ALL cases. If they beat this guy just because they didn’t like his cause, what is to stop them from beating a TEA Party attendee for little or no reason?

Agree. But it’s a big ‘if’. And I wonder if he resisted arrest, in a non-fictionalized in the police report way. It’s not as if this guy or his buddies respect rule of law, property rights, the usual things needed for a society that isn’t in anarchy, which is what that ‘a’ in the circle is short for.
