Is the ineptitude of ObamaCare authors and directors really a function of good old-fashioned government incompetence? Or is a widely ignorant American public being taken in by precisely what members of the radical left WANT to be brought about by the Affordable Care Act? Could the daily disasters–the suspended employer mandate, “honor system” reporting of income, previously unannounced taxes, doctors refusing to treat ObamaCare policy holders, the ludicrous Healthcare.gov website, the baldfaced lies about keeping your insurance and your doctors–could these extraordinary failures actually mean that the rollout of the ACA is proceeding exactly according to plan?

Yup. Just posted this on another thread: Single Payer MIGHT have been the original plan, but as FReeper HiTechRedneck put it so well, they wanted “a soft fail, not a spectacular fall off the edge of the aircraft carrier fail.” At this point the country wants the feds OUT of health care, not MORE involved. The ineptitude is just too overwhelming for them to walk it back now.
I agree with the coach. The ultimate goal is to ‘socialize’ the entire health care system. I wonder how much the attainment of that goal will influence medically related research for cures, drugs, etc. Not to mention the genuine rationing of health care and advanced life saving medical procedures and medications.
Did it really make sense to revise the health care system of over 300 million citizens in order to provide for 30 million uninsured. Surely there was a more rational approach?
Remember an interview of Barney Frank in the halls of Congress where he admitted that Obamacare was simply a way station on the road to a ‘single payer” system of healthcare.
The left doesn’t want insurance. They want the government to provide health care including coverages, payments, limitations on care, Doctors and Hospitals in the same way that Medicare is controlled by laws passed by Congress.
If that was the plan, it failed. The people are now LESS likely to let government control their health care not MORE likely.
Polls show the majority of the people now view government as too incompetent to take on projects or responsibilities this large. If indeed, this was the Left’s strategy, it failed.

It goes without saying that this ACA cluster eff was designed to fail so the continuous complaining of how bad it is and that nobody wants it and it is killing the medical insurance industry along with the medical service industry thus leading to a government controlled single payer system and needs to be repealed is not working. Even the so called conservative talking heads are all caught up in the ACA bashing game based on how bad it is, the web site roll out etc...... This also goes without saying that this law is not going anywhere because the ACA law gives THIS government the cradle to the early grave control of America’s people, barring the ruling elite of course. What needs to be continuously expressed by the cable news HOSTS and talked about by everybody is the ACA is about establishing SOCIAL CONTROL, period, and that too goes without saying but not enough are saying it.
How Sebelius hasn't gone into hiding is beyond me. She is a disgrace. No shame. No guilt. No sense of wrong. She has put some people's (patient's) lives in danger and doesn't give a CHIT! An arrogant, STONE COLD Marxist.
I agree. They wanted this to fail and get the sheeple to demand single payer.
But it looks like they just made themselves a laughing stock.
BUT the GOPe is coming to the rescue and is attacking its own base in order to lose in 2014
If the major insurance company kingpins got together and FOUGHT the ACA, they could’ve accomplished something. But instead they chose to believe the lies they were told and get in bed with the Marxists. They are going to get BURNED REAL BAD after this plays out and they DESERVE it for becoming sleaze bags in the first place. There’s no joy in watching our free-market system being torn apart, however.
