Thanks for the ping. The rot is pervasive at all levels.

The days of voting in real change are over. Same for change by jury.

Only one way out of this. We all know it. Some delude themselves, others are actively working against us.

It’s time. It won’t get any easier if we wait. A year, maybe two...

We can do this. We can win our Nation, and its Constitution, back.

I agree. The pestilence of leftism has now infected every important power and control center of our government and culture. The cancer is so deep at this point, I don't know that the whole body can be saved.

More and more, it seems that the most prudent solution for the still healthy parts of this republic, is to sever their political connections to the parts that are diseased.

We can, of course, continue to hold the view that our long established civil processes are still redeemable, and that simply working harder within that system will produce the results we desire, but I've personally lost faith in that being the case.

Even if the Republicans were to take both houses of Congress and the White House in the next couple of years, are any of us naive enough to believe that they'll roll up their sleeves and excise the cancer that's run rampant throughout our government?

I posit that, not only would they not attempt such a radical excision - their efforts to make corrections to the system would be far too feeble to get the job done. It would only delay the inevitable, and result in the cancer coming back even stronger than before.

No, I'm afraid the Constitution has been overthrown. We must now look to the Declaration for solutions.
