RICHMOND, Va. – With just one more day to go in the campaign, there is one group of voters that Republican Ken Cuccinelli needs to win over to become the next governor of Virginia: Female voters. He currently trails his Democratic opponent Terry McAuliffe by 16 points among women.

Carol Noggle, legislative coordinator of the League of Women Voters of Virginia, believes that women are likely to have a significant impact this year.

“There were more women than men who are registering to vote,” Noggle said in a phone interview. “The higher turnout may be among women than men,” said Noggle, who thinks that after the election it will be important for female voters to remain engaged. She recommended young voters to watch the election and what happens with the legislators when they start drafting bills.

we had a liberalatarian on a local radio show and it took him about three minutes but he finally got to the crux.. legalize drugs. Most of them are lefties that want to legalize drugs and should be disqualified from adult conversations on important issues. They have no idea how idiotic they appear and every year, it’s the same thing.

Take away legalizing hard drugs and they slip away.

“Many if not most women feel as passionately about their right to abortion as Conservatives do about their 2nd Amendment rights”

repeal the 19th amendment.

I only get screwed by government when I try to act like a contributing member of society. The key is to do as little as humanly possible.

The Founding Fathers were correct.

Those people should never have been allowed to vote or run for office. They are certifiably insane 25% of the time, combative 50% of the time and actively resistant to what men think is important the rest of the time.

“Women will decide election for McAuliffe, Cuccinelli”

“He (Cuccinelli) currently trails his Democratic opponent Terry McAuliffe by 16 points among women.”

If those two statements are true, why the hell are we even bothering with this election?

Many if not most women feel as passionately about their right to abortion as Conservatives do about their 2nd Amendment rights.

I would take issue with that. The country right now is pretty evenly divided, perhaps even leaning a bit Pro-Life. Would not be the case if women were almost universally pro-abort. Many of the key figures in the Pro-Life movement are women.

“Many if not most women feel as passionately about their right to abortion as Conservatives do about their 2nd Amendment rights.”

I’ll refer you to my favorite example of a woman’s natural instinct to protect her baby, Teen Mom on MTV. Every single girl says one time or another “This sucks, but I could have never killed my baby.” This comes from totally unintelligent, uneducated females.

It ain’t abortion. We vote for our freebies.

I do not anticipate being erased until my vote is no longer needed. I got time.

“If those two statements are true, why the hell are we even bothering with this election?”

Because the legislative coordinator of the League of Women Voters of Virginia wouldn’t be saying this if she wasn’t nervous about the outcome:

“She recommended young voters to watch the election and what happens with the legislators when they start drafting bills.”

I remain optimistic.

"Freebies" as in "government becomes the father of my kid"? Could very well be right.

Whatever the answer is, an in-depth study of the DEEPLY SUCCESSFUL IMPACT which the 'War on Women' mantra has, is in order. There is a 'selfishness' component here. An 'us vs. them' component, hence 'War on Women' implies that men are the ones waging the war.

When a male Democrat uses the 'War on Women' tactic to lure women in emotionally, he's implying he isn't a real man because it's 'men' who are the perpetrators in the 'War on Women'. Think about it. What a clusterf*ck.

I agree with you, though.

"Government as husband"

Okay, I'm getting a precise answer. Thanks. So, the 'War on Women' mantra is another way of saying "Don't worry, The Big Government Democrats will be your husband". Interesting.

This is why I like FR.. Good analysis resulting in conclusions.

It is a good they are bringing in Paul to flirt with the third party vote. They are stealing more from my guy than Clinton’s.

Illegal aliens will determine the vote in Virginia.

Illegal aliens are registered in large numbers in Virginia.
The SEIU has been out over the last few elections using hired canvassers (ironically, many of whom are also illegal aliens)to register illegals in large numbers.

They get them to check off the US Citizen block to get registered. Officials at the Registrars’ offices admit they never do follow up checks on registration forms.

Once registered, all they need on election day is a document showing their address. Do you know how easy it is to fake a water bill? Because of the lousy Republican organization in Northern Virginia, where most of the Republican leaders are rich RINOs, there are few volunteers for poll watchers. The base of the party who usually volunteer to do the poll watching are so turned off by the RINO leaders who are pushing spending, abortion, amnesty that they don’t sign up to work for them.

Cuccinelli, a really true and good conservative, is being back stabbed by the establishment RINOs.

People get the government they deserve, and in Virginia, they are going to get McAuliffe.

If there is good news, it’s that after Obama and McAuliffe, Republicans would be voted in with large majorities in 2014 and 2016.

But not RINO Republicans. A Christee run would mean a Democrat sweep.

Aren’t there currently more Republican state governors and legistlative majorities than there are Democratic? One would assume women helped elect all those Republicans.

I think it has more to do with the region and the race, then it has to do with women voting in lock step. What will you say tomorrow if Cucinelli wins?
