While some Republicans also worry about the consequences of the cuts, especially to national defense, other Republicans see them as the only way to limit federal spending.

Very few Republicans care about what the Sequester does to National defense. If they were many, the Sequester would be dead.

I am under no illusions. The Democrats only want to stop the Sequestration cuts for the domestic side, but you must understand - the domestic cuts are only 5%, the Pentagon cuts are almost 10%. Guess who "negotiated" that formula? Boehner and McConnell.
