Yet more lies on Syria

In writing these postings, one is often tempted to say something like “You’re going to love this one.” However, in this case, that would be quite distasteful…

According to blogger Susan Duclos of Wake Up America:

The horrifying pictures of dead children being used by the Obama administration to justify an attack on Syria, with the claim that the Assad regime carried out the chemical attacks that killed those children, while emotionally heartbreaking, do not tell the story of those children and do not tell you the main point the Obama administration is trying to cover-up.

Those children were kidnapped over a week earlier, before they were slaughtered……by the Obama backed...

More “involuntary martyrdom,” eh?

Y’know I’am still having trouble with the whole Syria thing.

Assad is killing Al Qaeda, Moslem Brotherhood, their supporters, and camp followers. Why the hell aren’t we SUPPORTING him?

This whole Syria thing was about a Shia vs Sunni fight over a pipeline. Of course Obama sides with the Sunnis and wants to use US wealth and forces to deliver it to them. If it were about the dead children then we would of started fighting 2 years ago before 100,000 people lost their lives.

Because he is supporting the Russian monopoly on natural gas, and we're trying to enter the market ourselves.

But in his ketchup-bleeding heart, Kerry knows full well that America’s aggression against Syria is not over sarin but natural gas. First of, Syria’s biggest supporter, Russia, is the world’s leading exporter of this stuff, and supplies Europe with nearly 40% of its needs, so that’s a lot of leverage

"To wiggle out of this dependence, another source of natural gas was needed, and Qatar proposed a pipeline to Europe by way of Syria, except Assad would not acquiesce. Russia is Assad’s main protector, after all, and Russian navy ships have docked in the Syrian port of Tartus since 1971. Rebuffed, the US, France, England, Germany, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and others decided to back terrorists to unseat Assad. Aiming to destroy Syria, this charming group calls itself the Friends of Syria, naturally. A long time enemy of Syria, Israel also supports this hostility, though its escalation might just wipe a good chunk of this pariah state off the map."

Europe is a big market with quite a bit of money and technology. They don’t much care for coal and they are having some concerns about nuclear power. They are finding out that solar and wind aren’t cure-alls. They like natural gas. The only problem is that they don’t have any. So, they have to import it. Russia has a lot of natural gas and sells a lot to Europe. This means they have to dance to Putin’s tune, and Putin can be one mean rat. So, Europe would like a source of cheap natural gas. The Saudis have natural gas. They would like to sell it to Europe. The problem is that Russia can get their natural gas to Europe through a pipeline. The Saudis have to put it in a ship and sail it there. That is less efficient and it’s hard to transport the massive quantities that Europe needs. Saudi Arabia could improve their efficiency by building a natural gas pipeline to the Mediterranean. Syria would be the best location for having the loading terminal for the pipeline. Russians hate competition. They always have and they always will. The Russians and Syrians have worked together for years. The Russians don’t want a Saudi natural gas shipping terminal and pipeline in Syria. So, the Saudis have to get rid of the Syrian government. And, let’s not forget that Israel has found a big natural gas field of of their coast. They would also like to sell natural gas to Europe. It’s about money. Now, why our President feels the need for us to be involved? Go ask him. Have his media buddies ask him. And then they can ask him why him and Hillary overthrew the government of Libya.

And about us it seems..

The push to export natural gas stems from the fact that the country now has too much of it. Thanks to the fracking-led energy boom, U.S. natural gas prices have collapsed. The flow of gas from many recently drilled wells has actually been shut off, as pumping it out costs more than the gas can be sold for. Prices in other parts are the world aren't nearly so low. In Europe, they are three times higher than in the United States. In Japan they're nearly five times as high. That offers an incredible incentive for energy companies to put their gas on a ship and send it abroad.

No children, no islamic war, and no sarin most likely. Just the same old stuff. Money and power and resources. And remember Putin/Gazprom has the big bucks coming in from Europe on gas right now. Also in Syria they just discovered a gold mine of natural gas. Putting all the pieces together so nicely.

That makes it a bit clearer.
As long as NG flows at market prices, it isn’t worth killing any one over, esp. folks who are doing the world a favor by killing Al Qaeda and Moslem Brotherhood scum.

Exactly my view. I wish everyone saw it this way.

What makes me curious is if there is no manufacturing plant and warehouse for sarin, what are they really planning to bomb?

They were going after Syrian forces and their command, control and communications (C^3); break enough of this stuff and Al Qaeda can finish the job.

Dunno why they think that Al Qaeda and the Moslem Brotherhood would be any more cooperative than Assad, though.

Supposedly the Saudis believe they can control the rebels. There are some fairly legit reports out there that the Saudi king has been bribing and threatening Putin over releasing chechens to destroy the winter olympics in Sochi.

I just posted a link to one on another thread because Putin makes me laugh - he made a typical Putin comment referring to the rebels as liver-eaters.

Why would Putin release Chechens to destroy the Olympics is Sochi? Sochi is in Russia; security would be Putin’s job.

The Saudis are threatening to turn chechens loose in Sochi. They apparently tried to bribe Putin too.

Lots of powermongering back there on this. Hard to believe it is all over natural gas. The future in gas and pipelines must be overwhelmingly bright. They're all wearing sunglasses.

is if there is no manufacturing plant

There is, Syria has manufactured Chem weapons for decades. If the attack was going to be 'small' as advertised, the only reasonably effective target is the Syrian AF. It is the organization that distinguishes the Syrians from the Al Qaeda force.
