Been thinkin’ about it lately. But just to supplement my retirement income of course. LOL! Nope. Can’t bring myself down to that level. Apparently my self respect level indicator doesn’t go there. I do understand there are those that really do need help but they are probably not getting what the “need” compared to those that have figured out how easy it is to scam the system.
Don’t sell the welfare recipients short. I bet more than a few of them work under the table.

If I were able to work, and work was available, taking welfare would be like stealing. I am not a thief.
My “want” list from the government:
1) leave me be
2) get out of my way
Hell no.

Pelosi was so proud when she announced that with “free healthcare” and welfare, more people will be able to stay home and realize their life long dreams of writing poetry, learning to play the guitar and painting pictures of bowls of fruit. What a country!!!

My worthless brother-in-law (If you know him he probably owes you money) has not worked steady since 1981. He said he was not going to pay taxes to Reagan!
By 1985 he found a way not to work at all and has been living on government funds since. What the government did not pay he had HIS WIFE work to make up the difference, but not him! He is too good for work!
Now his wife lost their job and he had to declare bankruptcy. But then, it’s not HIS fault! It is everyone else’s fault!
He sleeps till noon. Every day.
I’m happy that RV sales have come roaring back because I live where they are manufactured and have a job that involves property taxes....so if welfare recipients are living it up in luxury at least do it in style, and on the road. :)

I make 75,000 a year. I doubt that they would pay me that much in welfare. If they could, I would decline. Even though there are days when I would love to stay in bed with my wife all day, I still enjoy being productive. I was out of work from June 2011 until March 2012 and it was great at first, but it got old QUICK!
Now? You betcha. I would do whatever I could to do my part to "bring it all down, man."
Obama's reign has proven one thing to me, though: Playing by the rules is for suckers.
These days, yes, if I could make the same or more money by sitting on my ass, I'd do it.
Especially if one could double- or triple-dip benefits.
