Where can I get a job like that. I advoid most minority groups now for free. Would gladly do it for cash
The thing is, we are already paying for those people to do what?
At least make them work.
And do something with our tax code, to bring back American jobs.
Make everyone a government employee and borrow the money to pay them in perpetuity. What could go wrong?

I had a CETA job working as a custodian in an elementary school when I was 13/14 years old. It was a great experIence and i I learned how to strip, wax and a buff a floor out where you eat off it. Turned out to be great training for when I went in the Army.
I worked under the CETA program for two summers as a teen. And I did work at picking up trash, cleaning grass out of sidewalks, cutting brush, and picking up dead animals.
First thoughts:
-They’ve been salivating for something like this ever since Roosevelt had to drop the WPA on the eve of the War.
-Public Employee and Highway Construction unions are NOT going to want this competition from guys earning $20K a year on government benes. Not one bit!

Of course, I had it easier than you did because all of the students put up their chairs at the end of the day. There was also a "work crew" in which the students did light construction, painting, and even plumbing and electrical work.
I remember in high-school that was a BIG issue. Lots of the lower-income kids getting summer jobs through CETA (which were promoted in our morning PA announcements all year long) It’s why I nearly came to blows with some of them whenever I wore a Reagan t-shirt or button to school.
Of course he won and immediately ended the program. Mark Levin claims that when he came in with the transition team he found a storeroom full of copies of Rules for Radicals which had been purchased to ship to CETA participants the following year.

You make a good point. Yes, make any able-bodied person work, or take their EBT cards from them. I see them with luxury food that many of us cannot begin to afford. And police their work to make sure they’re doing it. Otherwise, reduce their pay. If able bodied, they MUST be willing to work.

There weren’t lots of kids getting jobs, just about 10 of us in my hometown.

CAN YOU imagine how destructive the ‘at least make them work’ resentful crew can wreak on the nation?
These people not only are paid not to work, but encouraged to believe it is their due and we owe them more.
(You haven't seen a school curriculum lately, have you?)
I am PRETTY SURE I don’t want to drive across a bridge built by people forced to work at an undesirable wage mandated by the government.
