"With the Supreme Court’s historic rulings on DOMA and Proposition 8, as well as the generational shift on civil marriage equality, it is clear that same-sex marriage will one day be a reality in Florida and the rest of the nation. It’s just a question of time.
Until then, religious justifications and definitions of marriage will continue to be used in opposition to civil same-sex marriage. Less than 50 years ago, similar religious and moral justifications for prohibiting civil interracial marriage were rejected because marriage equality is not a religious issue.
The 1967 Loving decision on interracial marriage, the civil marriage equality laws that exist in 13 states and last week’s Supreme Court rulings do not attempt to compel religious groups to change their definitions of marriage. Before the high court’s rulings, many religious groups already supported same-sex marriage, and no court order was needed for them to do so.
To preserve religious liberty in America, no civil law, including marriage, should be defined by religious law. The Founding Fathers wisely understood the dangers of basing civil law on religion. They separated government and religion in the First Amendment. Ultimately, the Constitution’s requirement for equal protection, regardless of minority status or moral rejection, will result in civil marriage equality for all.

But, before I rip this Holzhauer dingbat a new one, I have to let you in on a little secret: I'm Jewish. I cry every time I watch Schindler's List, I support Israel's right to whup on Jihadis whenever they feel like it, and I call my mother on a regular basis, no matter how much guilt is thrown my way. I was born a Jew, I'll spend the rest of my days on God's green and cooling earth as a Jew, and I'll die as a Jew. No, I'm not caving to political correctness (like say, Rick Scott did during the Zimmerman fiasco. Can't wait for the primary, Ricky!), I'm just heading the Cultural Marxists off at the pass.
Ladies and gentlemen, the above intellectual diarrhea isn't just Orwellian Doublethink on steroids, it's an insidious attack on Judaism and religious, actual Jews. What Gauleiter Holzhauer wants us to do is forget our religious upbringings (and to be fair to my Christian brothers and sisters, the role that Christianity played in the Founding of the United States)....all in the name of protecting religious liberty.
This is as revolting as it gets, friends. This is Warsaw Ghetto snitch low. Yep, I said it, and I'm not taking back, nor am I "evolving" on this issue.
If the ADL actually cared about defending Judaism, Abe Foxman (the Lib in Chief of the All Democrats League) would have stood up and said, "The ADL cannot, in good conscience, support any legislation, any court decision, or any ballot initiative that would legalize gay marriage or change the definition of marriage. It's against the religious and cultural beliefs we strive so hard to defend." We didn't get that from Abie-Baby, did we ? Instead, we get one of his flunkies applauding the destruction of religion in the United States, just like any other junkie wasting their days posting meaningless comments at Media Bladders or Moveon.dork.
There is absolutely no guarantee that rabbis, pastors, and priests won't be forced to perform homosexual "marriages". (No, I didn't forget the Inspiration of Terrorists World Wide. This won't apply to them. They have powerful friends in the Bloated Beast we call "the government", don'tcha know.) And it won't stop there, because once the Federal Leviathan dips its big, fat snout into something, it never stops. Pretty soon, places of worship will be compelled to accept homosexuals as rabbis, pastors, and priests. Then, there will be checks to make sure that there is enough "diversity" in the congregations, and you can bet your last fiat dollar that tons of regulations will follow as well, ranging from what temperature the Holy Water can be to whether or not you can have your infant son circumcised.
The ADL, as alleged defenders of Judaism, should know first hand why this is a terrible idea. After all, the Nazis interfered with religion and this interference helped bring about the Holocaust. Granted, the NSDAP wasn't into Adam marrying Steve, but they understood how controlling and silencing religious institutions and persons were vital to creating the monstrosity that was the Third Reich.
And yet, there they are, whistling past the graveyard, right ?

The above horse poop is another example of the ADL's hatred of religious Jews. The ADL despises Jews who are actually Jewish. (And my Christian brothers and sisters, don't think you're of the hook. They hate you too.) When Barack Hussein Obama thought it was a really swell idea to shrink Israel down to the indefensible 1967 borders, the ADL put out a lukewarm statement that wasn't even a slap on the wrist. When the former Barry Soetero appointed Upchuck Hagel to turn the Department of Defense into the Department of Defenselessness, Abe Foxman barely looked up from his bagel and lox. When New York Jets bench warmer Oday Aboushi was outed as an Islamonazi, the ADL defended him as if their miserable little lives depended on it. And no, I'm not holding my breath waiting for the ADL to defend the pro-Israel groups that were illegally targeted by the Infernal Revenue Service, either. (No, not a typo.)
Here's the bottom line, gang. Identity politics are nothing more than leftist nonsense. Phony baloney ethnic front groups are nothing more leftist nonsense piled on leftist lies. They don't speak for minorities, only the progressivik movement. Granted, I'm picking at the ADL because I'm Jewish and these collaborators claim to speak on my behalf, but let's face it, blacks should be picking at the NAACP (that has yet to to do a thing to fight for school vouchers so poor black parents can pull their kids out of union infested, failing public schools) and Hispanics should rail against La Raza (which is supporting the Rubio/Schumer amnesty pile of crap that will help put Americans of Latino descent out of work.)
Aren't we better than this, folks ? Do we really need these race hustlers constantly stirring the pot ? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say "absolutely not". Too bad not enough of my fellow minorities feel the same way.
You CAN’T be so naive as to think “gay marriage” will not -— DOES not -— legally mandate that ALL boundaries as to who or what may ‘marry’ be permitted to do so. The ONLY “line in the sand’ that was and is legally defensible is “one man + one woman”. The instant that line is erased, no other line can be drawn (legally) that will withstand a court challenge. The first next prohibition to crumble will most likely be polygamy, as supporters of that notion are already gearing up. Thereafter, in some order, incest will go down, age limits will at least radically change, and without a doubt ‘bestiality’ will have to be embraced (in fact, “marrying” inanimate objects - car, vacuum cleaner, etc - are almost guaranteed at some point. “Marriage”, as an institution, will become meaningless. That is simply a legal essential if “1 M + 1 W” is erased.

I live in the Socialist Wonderland known as Broward County, Florida. Almost every Jew that I know thinks I’m some sort of reject because I have no desire whatsoever to build pyramids for progressivik pharoahs. I stopped attending synagogue around here a long time ago. Almost every rabbi around here is a flaming liberal and they don’t leave it outside the pulpit.
The last time I attended Friday night services, many moons ago, the rabbi started venting against Conservatives and what terrible man Newt Gingrich was and how the impeachment of Bill Caligula was some sort of insult to Judaism, or some other nonsense. I knew that the other synagogues in the area are no better, so I stopped going.
Needless to say, I pray extra hard on Yom Kippur. I really hope God understands.

While we’re on the subject, since when did opposing illegal immigration constitute “hate” ? The term “illegal aliens” doesn’t refer to any ethnic group, it refers to dirt bags who could care less about the sovereignty of the United States. That’s not hate, that’s patriotism.
Illegal aliens are criminals, period. I don’t care if they’re from Mexico, Canada, Israel, or South Africa. Illegal means “wrong” and “against the law” last time I checked.

What people of faith need to do is tackle the problem head on. If your rabbi, priest, or pastor starts spouting off leftist drivel, simply get up and walk out and find another place to worship. I know that’s easier said than done, and I know that the guilt is immense (I struggle with it every day), but I feel it’s the only way to get through to those who are still willing to listen to reason.
