Of the three branches, the SCOTUS has been the biggest disappointment. Calling the 16th amendment Constitutional was a crock, I could go on.

The word ‘losing’ implies that there is a bit of respect and trust remaining in the political upper court? Should read ‘lost’ instead of ‘losing’......

You are right. Congress wants wiggle room in the laws they pass and so they weave in vague ill defined terms. They then kick the can to the Supreme Court who will define those vague terms only when a case is brought before them (with standing) and then they will define the terms the way the political wind is blowing. And who can get two lawyers to agree on the time of day?

I think the only thing left that I respect in DC is at:
700 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
Washington, DC

They dumped Rule of Law on purpose to destroy the Constitution with the Progressives/Marxists in early 1900’s-—definitions/Reason no longer exists in making “law” which is unconstitutional (unjust laws).

The Supreme Court makes up new meanings to words (unconstitutional and Marxism) and they remove Reason and insert irrational/convoluted “thinking” which is Unjust Law and unconstitutional.

All Laws which are antithetical to the Constitution (including International “treaties” are “Null and Void”. (John Marshall).

It is really quite simple to understand the meaning of our Justice (Virtue) system-—yet Holmes removed “Morality” from law-—which is impossible in a “Virtue” system—and ours was the Judeo-Christian Ethical system which grew out of Common Law (Christian). (We are in a tyranny right now....there is no Rule of Law anymore).

Laws have to contain Reason. The Postmodernists-—like John Austin and all his corrupt followers destroyed our legal system, when Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr ejected Reason and God’s Laws and inserted Socialist/Atheism/Marxist Ethics where Law is for the “Common Good” and where there are no Individual Rights from God (unconstitutional).

Individual unalienable Rights is the whole purpose of our Legal (Justice) system.....well, it used to be....until the Marxists/Progressives destroyed Reason.

SCOTUS has become

1. A king’s council or super-legislature.

2. Comprised of unelected lifetime appointed, self righteous elites...nobles if you will...beyond which there is no appeal.

3. a body that on whim, too often overrides the will of God, the People, the States, and too infrequently....the acts of the executive and the Congress.

4.It mocks and derides the very document (Constitution) and philosophy (Declaration) which birthed it.

If we were to apply the left’s racist identity political litmus test......it is not even close to representative of America.

Way too Catholic 66% vs 23.9%
Way too Jewish 33% vs 1.7%
No Protestants or other faiths.
Way too gay/lez (just guessing here)
Only Harvard (5) and Yale (4) law is represented.
Adding undergrad brings only 2 Stanford’s, 3 Princeton’s, one Georgetown, and one Holy Cross.

8 of the 9 hail from states north and east of DC....1 is from CA. Pause. The hillbilly token is from Georgia.

Oh, well. Lincoln ignored them. Maybe we will too one day.

There is an authority above the supremes and that is the people. I can envision a day when the people will simply cease to comply to tyrannical government and nullify their power.

I’m glad to see that I’m not alone. It’s been gone for quite some time.

Good post. And I think they only way to remove the “King’s super legislature” is to ignore them, as you said. This has to come from the states.

When states finally get fed up enough, and know the citizens are behind them, they will just start ignoring the legislation from the bench coming from the Supreme Court.

Let’s repeal the 17th amendment to strengthen state sovereignty, and also begin demanding our states stop taking federal funds so that we are not beholden to them.

Repeal the 16th amendment, go to the Fair tax - another way to break loose of the feds. Then just start ignoring all the stupid Supreme Court decisions that have been make since the 1960s.

A driver was stuck in a traffic jam on the highway outside Washington, DC.

Nothing was moving.

Suddenly, a man knocks on the window.

The driver rolls down the window and asks, “What’s going on?”

“Terrorists have kidnapped the Supreme Court Justices, and they’re asking for

a $100 million dollar ransom. Otherwise, they are going to douse them all in gasoline and set them on fire. We are going from car to car, collecting donations.”

“How much is everyone giving, on an average?” the driver asks.

The man replies, “Roughly a gallon.”
