Our last Independence Day
Coach is Right ^ | 7/4/13 | Kevin "Coach" Collins

We tried. We really did try as hard as we could. Over the past 237 years we have poured out the lives of generations of our young men and women to defend our liberties. We have willingly sacrificed our treasure and our tears fighting to keep the wolves of tyranny away from our door.

But unless we change course now we will die on the battlefield of Good versus Evil. Today we find ourselves looking more like the patriots who were overwhelmed at The Alamo and crushed at Corregidor, than the brave signers of our Declaration of Independence. Try as we have, unless something changes, it’s all over. If our quisling politicians erase our borders and...

The flight of US jobs overseas is a symptom, not a root cause.

A constitutionally limited government would not have done that which has resulted in the movement of our manufacturing out of the country.

Since the last Election Day, I felt we would not make it to 2016.
Out last hope (before the unmentionable Plan B) is if Palin, Cruz, et al, can help us retake our nation via the ballot box.
If not, it will get very ugly, very quickly.

I know SO MANY people that have lost their jobs due to the economic policies, Obamacare (the fear of it), over taxation, over regulation, basically very hostile anti-business stance from the current administration. You would not believe the number of people that are calling our church needing food, shelter, and any workthat they can get right now just to survive. A large percentage of these people have told me that they’ve never had to do this before. You can tell by their demeanor that this really pains them to have to do this. They feel humiliated and overwhelmed and many had jobs that they were at forever. One had been at their job for 38 years and ot let go due to this new Obamacare crao and this is not the only I know of that has lost their jobs to it. I dont think I’ve ever seen it his bad in all the years that I’ve been around...

Lots of defeatism there.

Can't never could.

Put faith in God and do the right thing. The outcome is in His Hands, and not known to us.

I agree.

We have been sold a bill of goods, about “free trade”.

Americans have been being laid off. By the millions.

Entire industries are based in China, where no Americans are employed whatsoever, yet we fill our stores with the things which are imported.

China is taking advantage of us. China now exports MORE than America, and the amount of goods China exports is increasing.

Bring back American jobs.

Now.

Good article and some excerpts below . very true. We have to try to stop this stupid Amnesty bill, call congress . tell the House to not consider any immigration related bill at all because it will be merged with the Senate Amnesty bill.

“If our quisling politicians erase our borders and let those who have coveted our lifestyle for generations flood our streets and voting booths, we’re finished as ”The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.”

If they pass an amnesty bill, names like Ryan and Rubio, McCain and Schumer; Menendez and Pelosi and dozens and dozens more will go down in history with Benedict Arnold and the Walker family as the worst traitors and quislings in our history.

If they stab us in the back with amnesty America will be nothing more than a collection of boastful fools who thought they were better than the Romans and so many other long gone empires. The irony is that with full knowledge of the mistakes those past civilizations made, we repeated them.

Our Obituary will read, “America, by suicide in her 238th year.” Today instead of looking forward to a bigger and better America, we are content to sit and watch our precious freedoms be taken away one by one until now there are virtually none left

Wow....

Maybe before you try acting like losers, you can actually TRY to fight?

Because if what you call this pathetic effort we’ve made the past 11 years an effort, then some of you need a dictionary.

Gays have made an effort believe it or not. And as much as this may bite some of you to hear, a bunch of guys that love to screw each other up their rears made better activists than most of us. They showed up, they made noise, they didn’t quit. They didn’t think someone else would take care of it because they were too busy “trying to make a living” either. Neither did they hope to just launch “civil war 2” or just sit around praying.

And in the end they kick our sorry asses because they ACTED on what they wanted.

So, yeah, go put the French flags away, have a hotdog, and get back on the field tomorrow.

That ship has long since sailed out of sight. The new government-industrial barons have successfuly exported manufacturing, and imported slave labor, all the while creating a web of rules and regulations to prevent any competition to their monopoly. Barons like Rockefeller, Carnagie, and Morgan would be green with envy. All it took was to find the best politicians money could buy, and then you own a piece of the government, to do your bidding.

Anyone who calls you a protectionist, or a nationalist, or heartless because you refuse to protect your sovereignty, is at war with the US, financial war, and they want to loot the US for every penny they can sqeeze out of our country.

Spot on! The sodomites were also very effective at infiltrating positions of influence and power (APA, Supreme Court...hello?).

No there will be a movement now that China exports more than America.

It will be fought by the big business people who have sent American manufacturing to China.

But there is a very big force on our side. The US military.

America cannot remain the strongest nation on earth, by importing.

America can only remain powerful, by exporting.

Right now, all the laws in America favor imports.

I believe that is about to turn 180 degrees. America is about to look out for American jobs, and become pro-American in our shopping habits.

US manufacturers, get with the program.

You sent all our jobs elsewhere.

Either bring them back, or we will make laws, to shut you out.

Make your choice.

Nobody should believe for a moment that it was smooth sailing for the revolution following the signing of the Declaration.

Overall support from the states was slow and spotty and it wasn’t until after the battles of Trenton and Cowpens that many became convinced it could be successful.

The revolution began in 1774, some say 1772 with small battles and the formation of an army. Washington was in the field with his army when the Declaration was signed and read and the war took years. What the most powerful nation on earth at the time considered to be rabble farmers persevered and defeated Britain. It was not easy or fast as most have come to expect in this light-speed age but it was done.

It would have been overwhelming to wake up this morning to a true Independence Day and hear that Il’Douchebag had been told he is no longer president and he will not be coming back. That fantasy didn’t happen but giving up on our Constitution and Republic out of despair that it won’t happen quickly is not what will regain for us true independence.

Its a nice dream but in 3.5 years what will be left to vote on?

When the US President is in Africa telling the good folks there that just anybody cannot be allowed to drive a car, own a nice home or have air conditioning you know its over.

Thanks to the blacks and possible unknown terrorists we can’t even have fireworks celebrations. Why can’t we get 4 million people in the street in front of 1600 Penn Ave demanding that that ineligible occupant be evicted?

I also am tired of the defeatist attitude around here. Conservatives put over 100 thousand in the streets in DC once, and it can happen again. But not by handwringing and saying we're screwed.

Enjoy Independence Day. I intend to live free today. I also refuse to wallow in fear.

“Why can’t we get 4 million people in the street in front of 1600 Penn Ave demanding that that ineligible occupant be evicted?”

Because is no one willing to be martyred for the cause and our opposition knows it.

Not only do they know it, but over the last two months they demonstrated that they can scare us into submission.

And the sad part? We are the ones with the guns.
