To GOP House:Senators McCain and Graham warn you to pass the Senate immigration Bill or else
SOL of course | 7/1/2013 | sickoflibs

Ok House Republicans, especially you conservatives: It’s time for you to move on immigration reform. Our conservative Tea party hero Rubio has taken it half way delivering a bill in the Senate. Now it’s your turn.

Our common sense conservatives McCain and Gramnesty (and Chuck Schumer) are warning you that their best friend Marco Rubio will not be able to win the White House unless you pass their immigration reform. We need to all pull together for him. He believes in the American Dream and he believes that the American Dream will make this work. He believes that the undocumented (aka illegals) will do great here and pay lots of taxes because his American Dream will make it work, and they will vote GOP in return to get tax cuts on all those taxes they will be forced to pay. Soon they will be opposing Obama-care.

Look, McCain and Grahmesty are both patriots who were in the military and who were key in pushing for the liberation and democratization of Iraq and look how well getting them voting has worked for us. Most of the undocumented (aka illegals) are conservatives just like we are. Hispanics are just sleeping conservatives waiting for another Reagan to come along and he is Marco Rubio, most Hispanics will come out in full force for the GOP as soon as an immigration bill is signed by Obama.

The Senate bill got bi-partisan support, it got 14 GOP Senators. You can’t do better than that. It is a conservative bill.

Marco Rubio assures us that Obama HATES this Senate bill, in fact can’t sleep at night thinking about it. So don’t believe his act when he (Obama) praises it. He may need to drink a few bottles of wine before he can sign it. Let’s get the Senate bill to Obama’s desk to really make him miserable.

So GOP House members: let’s all pull together and pass this bill just like we pulled together to pass the No Child Left behind and Medicare prescription drugs Acts in 2004. It’s the American Spirit.

RE :”The House shouldn't put up any immigration bill at all , neither a fence bill alone or the Senate bill. either or both will be merged with Amnesty. the best thing is for the House to do nothing “

But that same strategy didnt stop the Senate tax bill and updated VAWA (with added protections for gays and illegals) Senate bills from getting to Obama’s desk (remember they killed plan B?). .

Bohner couldnt get a GOP bill passed in house at all so he just put up the Senate bills for a vote and they passed with Pelosi votes.

This is a partticularly self distructive way to do business and just strenthens Obama.

You doubt this man??

:”Senator Graham now returns with more advice, stating that if we don’t pass immigration reform the Republican Party will continue in a demographic death spiral. According to Graham during a Sunday appearance on Meet the Press: “If we don’t pass immigration reform, if we don’t get it off the table in a reasonable, practical way, it doesn’t matter who you run in 2016.” .He wants us to believe that its in the Republican’s best interest to grant amnesty to 11 million (low estimate) illegal aliens because they will then magically become republicans and vote for the GOP in upcoming elections

Lindsey Graham gives more sage advice( tavernkeepers.com ^ | 6/17/13 | John)

Call the bluff!

Take Mmehhicco’s own law—put our label on it—then pass it as US law for the house.

re: Lindsey Graham. I don't think that he, McCain and the other ptb give a damn about winning. They just don't want their globalist gravy-train knocked off the track by constitutional conservatives.

I'm pretty confident of that. True constitutional conservative principles only appeal, but appeal strongly, to those who aspire to get ahead. With more low-income hispanics competing with low-income blacks and whites, nobody sees much of an opportunity to get ahead in life. Thus, they need the federal gravy train to keep on rolling.

And who powers that train? An elite globalist minority, through contracts, appointments, and connections.

...or else, what? Our nation will be invaded by third worlders yearning to cash in on Uncle Sugar? Already done happened. What are we supposed to be fearful of if this bill is killed in place, as it should be? The rage of the political class in DC? LOL.

” is Ryan brilliant or what?

He’s a whore, in cahoots with his wife(a former, big time corporate lobbyist.) Ryan sold us out on amnesty to corporate interests, and stands to get rich off his treachery!

If you don’t do your homework on these so-called “conservative stare”, don’t be surprised when they turn on you.

Only chance to stop the Amnesty bill is for the House not to consider any immigration related bill at all.

But they are well on the way to passing their own "comprehensive" bill (no citizenship yet, but as you know, strange things happen in conference). The bill will be created in the Judiciary Committee unless somebody stops it, and I think that would be difficult.

I called my congessman to tell him not to vote for a path-to-citizenship OR ELSE I will work to primary him next year.

Or else WHAT? McCain can’t lift his arms and Graham probably fights like a girl.

So if I was in the House I’d say, “you and what army”.

Punks.

The issue is not what WE are afraid of. Congesscritters are afraid of being called racists.

Calvin Coolidge: "[The political mind] is a strange mixture of vanity and timidity, of an obsequious attitude at one time and a delusion of grandeur at another time. The political mind is the product of men in public life who have been twice spoiled. They have been spoiled with praise and they have been spoiled with abuse."

I like Cal, but this time amnesty will destroy the country, and the politicians better think twice before pulling the trigger.

Coolidge calls them (IOW) cowardly blowhards. But these contemporary cowards are about to descend to a betrayal that the cowards of the 1920a would not consider.

RE :”I called my congessman to tell him not to vote for a path-to-citizenship OR ELSE I will work to primary him next year.”

The nice thing about that argument is that you can tell them that giving illegals citizenship after a few years of signing up is the same as them saying that illegals are the same same as you(or me.)

Same rights same benefits as us, even more because we are white and they get pushed to the front of line for being non-white.

Affirmative action and path means that they are seen by the laws as better than us. .

Follow the money...here's an interesting article regarding the SuperPAC formed by former Bush Commerce Sec'y, Carlos Guitierrez. From the article...

Business leaders want to see broad immigration reform this year, and they pledged on Thursday to put serious money behind that effort.

Carlos Gutierrez, a former commerce secretary under President George W. Bush, said that he's continuing to grow a Republican super PAC, which was first announced in November, designed to urge members of Congress to support immigration reform.

"We're going to do something we haven't done in the past," he said at a news conference. "We're going to put money behind the problem."

..."I'm not worried about whether we can get the votes in the House," he said, "if we can get agreement" between business, labor, and faith-based organizations.

"Once we get that together," he added, "we'll get the votes."

Much more info at link.
