We’re Going Into the Greatest Depression: (shortened)
SHTF Plan ^ | 6/28/13 | Mac Slavo

Look around and you can’t miss it.

The world is on the brink… politically, economically, financially, monetarily, and militarily.

Events are accelerating. Over the last decade trend forecaster Gerald Celente has been blaring the alarms.

If you’ve been paying attention, then you’ve heard them. You know we’re going under.

And this time they’re not going to be able to stop it.

At this point I am actually looking forward to it.

The new and improved phoenix will rise from the ashes at some point down the road...

It will take a catalyst though....not sure when that will happen...

Preparing for civil disorder like the looming Zimmerman verdict should take advantage of cheap defensive technology now available (offensive technology like firearms are already in everyone’s mindset, so no real need to hype what we already feel comfortable with).

For example, defensive tech such as body armor is pretty cheap when buying surplus such as at www.bulletproofme.com .

As another example, window tint (film) can now bulletproof your home and car windows: http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/565674671/NEW_16mil_Explosion_proof_Bullet_proof.html .

Hyper-power flashlights can be had for as little as $15, so powerful that they almost blind attackers (CREE’s T6 Ultrafire comes to mind at Amazon.com and eBay.com).

Bear spray is a must. One can could stop an entire street gang.

Ballistic fabric is cheap now: http://www.skarram.com/fabric.html

You can line your wife’s purse. You can use it to line your briefcase and coat so that you now have a shield. Budget permitting you might even line the inside of your car’s interior panels to up-armor your daily driver.

Get a big dog. Your wife or daughter should never be jogging alone. Jog with a dog capable of defending her. Dogs are also good for home defense.

You can pretty well see what risks are ahead. That’s almost like being able to predict the future.

Well, act on that! Predictions are useless if you don’t act. Sitting around won’t save you.

If all those economic positive developments will generate enough tax revenues to pay down our debts and cover all those SWAPS, derivatives, etc etc that banks are liable for (and taxpayers via FDIC) then all is well. Problem is the US has over 60 trillion in liabilities (fed, state, local gov debt) and I have not even started to add Soc Sec/Medicare/Medicaid unfunded liabilities to the mix yet. US GDP is about 15 trillion. Fracking, DNA, high tech innovations and etc is not going to cover these debts/liabilities. Wait till the Fed Reserve eases on the QE programs and bond buy backs and interest rates shoot up. Fed Reserve lost control and are at the mercy of bond vigilantes. Hint no more QE, market and bond prices crash, forcing the Fed to back track. While the US is trying to sort out its financial house the other major powers are not waiting for us. 2.5 percent GDP growth without accounting for inflation will not cover the 3 percent population growth. There are jobs in the fracking zones but not enough to cover the total number of people grad from HS and college. I do not think we will enter a Depression instantly but we are dying slowly. If job creation cannot cover population growth, in ten years what are we going to do with those who have no jobs or underemployed for ten years? The social and economic costs will add up. Gov and corporations do not help.

>>It could be any day but no later than mid 2015. IMO<<

[1] And as he was going out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him: Master, behold what manner of stones and what buildings are here. [2] And Jesus answering, said to him: Seest thou all these great buildings? There shall not be left a stone upon a stone, that shall not be thrown down. [3] And as he sat on the mount of Olivet over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him apart: [4] Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall begin to be fulfilled? [5] And Jesus answering, began to say to them, Take heed lest any man deceive you.

[6] For many shall come in my name, saying, I am he; and they shall deceive many. [7] And when you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, fear ye not. For such things must needs be, but the end is not yet. [8] For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and famines. These things are the beginning of sorrows. [9] But look to yourselves. For they shall deliver you up to councils, and in the synagogues you shall be beaten, and you shall stand before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony unto them. [10] And unto all nations the gospel must first be preached.

[11] And when they shall lead you and deliver you up, be not thoughtful beforehand what you shall speak; but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye. For it is not you that speak, but the Holy Ghost. [12] And the brother shall betray his brother unto death, and the father his son; and children shall rise up against the parents, and shall work their death. [13] And you shall be hated by all men for my name’ s sake. But he that shall endure unto the end, he shall be saved. [14] And when you shall see the abomination of desolation, standing where it ought not: he that readeth let him understand: then let them that are in Judea, flee unto the mountains: [15] And let him that is on the housetop, not go down into the house, nor enter therein to take any thing out of the house:

[16] And let him that shall be in the field, not turn back to take up his garment. [17] And woe to them that are with child, and that give suck in those days. [18] But pray ye, that these things happen not in winter. [19] For in those days shall be such tribulations, as were not from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, neither shall be. [20] And unless the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh should be saved: but for the sake of the elect which he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

[21] And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; lo, he is here: do not believe. [22] For there will rise up false Christs and false prophets, and they shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce (if it were possible) even the elect. [23] Take you heed therefore; behold I have foretold you all things. [24] But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light. [25] And the stars of heaven shall be falling down, and the powers that are in heaven, shall be moved.

[26] And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds, with great power and glory. [27] And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. [28] Now of the fig tree learn ye a parable. When the branch thereof is now tender, and the leaves are come forth, you know that summer is very near. [29] So you also when you shall see these things come to pass, know ye that it is very nigh, even at the doors. [30] Amen I say to you, that this generation shall not pass, until all these things be done.

[31] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away. [32] But of that day or hour no man knoweth, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father. [33] Take ye heed, watch and pray. For ye know not when the time is. [34] Even as a man who going into a far country, left his house; and gave authority to his servants over every work, and commanded the porter to watch. [35] Watch ye therefore, (for you know not when the lord of the house cometh: at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning,)

[32] Nor the Son: Not that the Son of God is absolutely ignorant of the day of judgment, but that he knoweth it not, as our teacher; that is, he knoweth it not so as to teach it to us, as not being expedient.

[36] Lest coming on a sudden, he find you sleeping. [37] And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch. Mark 13

Pretending that a depression is not coming is really poor investment advise.

Interest rates are rising and even at just the small amount it has is ready bottoming out the mortgage market.

Between the the various city state and municipal governments being in did financial do-do the raising interest rates will soon be eating up the lion share of their tax revenues they will either have to raise taxes, which they already have raised again or again or cut spending to the bone.

The era of free money from eh FED can’t not continue, but when it stops the economic repercussions will be worse than a crackhead going cold turkey.

With nearly 50 million Americans on food stamps, 100 million on welfare, and no economic progress in sight, it won’t be long before the world as we have come to know it changes drastically.

When you go through the real numbers unemployment level– when part-time workers are included– is 14.3%–meaning that one in seven of every potential full-time employee in the U.S. economy is not able to earn a proper living wage–and thereby contribute to the snails-pace of economic growth.

It’s been months since even enough jobs were created to cover new people entering the workforce, much less jobs for those who are out of work the the types of jobs being created are overwhelmingly low paying what we use to call entry level positions and part time jobs. The part time will only grow as business are force to avoid the cost of Obamacare to make ends met.

And every day the Federal government its digs the debt hole just that much deeper, They are so deep now they have just about come out the other side.

I could go on, but believe me you ain’t seen nothing yet like what’s a coming.

The unemployed are called slackers, and the economy does not depend upon slackers.

If you go back in Time merely to the 1970’s you will see that women entered into the work in large numbers.

Current slackers are simply returning the workforce back to the Historical norm of one worker per family unit...although it isn’t going back to the 1960’s gender bias.

Which is to say, unemployment and the economy will grow. It is to be expected.

Rising interest rates are a sign that our economy has recovered.

I differ the only thing growing the economy right now is free money and when its gone so will be what little growth we have seen.

What’s driving the stock market - the Fed. Most if not all of the growth in the market over the past few years been due to the Fed’s massive QE easy money stimulus. The money had to go somewhere. You can print money at that kind of rate and not expect it to bite you in the ass as some point.

Lots of countries have free money from central banks. Japan. Europe.

The difference in the U.S. isn’t the free money, Tokyo and Berlin already have that.

Nope. The difference is oilfield fracking. Web 3.0. 3D printing. Electric cars. Hyper-farming. DNA programming in medicine. Entertainment streaming like Netflix and HBO Go. Cloud computing. Big Data. Crowdsourcing.

In other words, the difference is our private sector. That’s why the U.S. has sustainable growth.

It ain’t about the free money. Others have that and have still lost decades.
