U.S. moves one step closer to Civil War – SCOTUS strikes down DOMA
Freedom Outpost ^ | June 26, 2013 | Shea Bernard

In a victory for sexual perverts in States where it is legal for deviants to be married, The Supreme Court of the United States has spit in the face of Almighty God and every true Christian in this country, and ignored thousands of years of human history in which homosexual ACTS have been tolerated by some, but never have they allowed to marry on a de facto or de jure basis, by striking down the provisions of DOMA that deny sexual deviants the same Federal benefits of marriage.

The Court reasoned that it is unconstitutional to deny marriage benefits to some married couples but allow them for others. On a strictly legal platform, this is not surprising, and frankly was expected. In effect, they are leaving it to the States to decide. States that do not recognize pervert marriages still are not required to do so, and do not have to provide State benefits to same-sex couples, nor recognize same sex marriages of couples who move to their States married in one that permits it, but are merely saying that the Federal government may not give to one group what it does not give to another.

The error in this reasoning is that homosexuals are not a federally recognized protected class, yet the majority court seems to have ignored this axiom. The really disturbing part of this ruling on Doma is that it opens the door for States to permit incestuous, polygamous, and incestuous polygamous marriages; equal rights for all means ALL, right? It appears that the Court did not think this through to its logical conclusion.

Our founding fathers would have been shooting by now. No question.

Next on the agenda: rewrite history to call them our "fondling fathers".

Revolt is coming.

I disagree.

We're WAY past the point of no return. How many steps are required for CWII to get here? The line will continue to move farther away, because we are being deliberately dumbed down.

Plenty of largesse distributed to the ignorant masses ensures continued stupidity and evil in the boughs of our governmental tree.

I have much more issue with the Prop 8 ruling than DOMA. There is reasonable argument that DOMA stretched the powers of the Federal government. While I hate handing the wackos a victory, it may not be an unsound decision.

The Prop 8 ruling has basically removed the power of the people in governance. The citizens of California (of all places) voted overwhelmingly to prevent gay marriage. The government decided not to support the law on the books. Other parties took it to court and the courts have now said the people do not have standing to defend the law of the land. Basically, elected officials have all the power, and citizens have none. Very frightening precedence.

It took a while for the shooting to begin back then and there were many negotiations with the king and parliament over a period of years. Communications were not what they are today.

What’s going on today is a piecemiel dissection of our liberties but those are beginning to mount up.

Would a second declaration and a AmRev2 succeed? Hard to tell. The original revolution was not very widely supported throughout the actual war years. Whether it’s full implementation of obamacare and its taxes and death panels or the killing of coal and power production that brings us to it is still unknown but just those two alone will devastate a large part of the population and may be the triggering actions.

DOMA is not enough for most average citizens, regardless of their views on it. Shut down their heat or cooling or give them rolling power interruptions along with confiscating their assets by way of obamacare “taxes” giving them less or no care will have a real effect and it won’t just be the democrats who will be seen as needing removal; it will include most if not all of the current leaders of both parties.

They stole the word - not the concept. “Marriage” is now a government benefits distribution arrangement having nothing to do with the traditional relationship between a man and a woman. Churches need to agree on a new name for the latter and move forward.

King George did not have the NSA and DHS to quiet quell any dissenters.

Yeah we are dangerously close to a conflict. If amnesty passes, Obamacare gets fully implemented and the coal industry is bankrupted and we still do Quantitative Easing after all that then plan on conflict to spill. Especially when fraud happens at the ballot box and the DOJ, IRS, DHS and NSA come after us. Enough will be enough. I hadn’t even thought about gay marriage until today. Then there is Sharia and Common Core and Agenda 21 and a secret attempt to get a North American Union.

Push in California and in Illinois and New York right now.

Again, watch Obama’s speech on granting visas to gay partners across america effectively ‘recognizing their marriages’.

Also the insertation of this within the immigration bill.

Marriage is a federal issue. Removing DOMA will let them attempt to cram a federal bill permitting Gay marriage everywhere, without the consent, input or otherwise of the states which disagree.

DOMA forced them to go state by state - removing DOMA makes all states irrelevant and puts the battle in the senate and congress.

No, I meant a 1776 moment. The civil war was a regional group of states which as a whole were persuaded to secede and fight for a very specific reason: retention of slavery by the ruling class of that time. The “enemy” was demonized to bring the common man into the fight using the same tactics as the democrat party uses today. For a CW you need to have coherent and large support in all of the states involved with a great degree of regional coherence or it will be beaten down faster than the old confederacy.

A rev is an overall movement that includes and builds on support in all parts of the country to put aside the current ruling class and in this case to reestablish the Constitution and the Republic, NOT to establish a new constitution and confederation of states. A rev may take years as we have seen throughout history and is not the easy way to go.

In a rev the supporters risk failure and loss of life and treasure but they press forward knowing the risks and knowing the importance of the cause. They also understand from the start that they may lose, but the benefits to all of success again moves them forward. If I pick up the flag I move forward and if I fall I look to the person to my left or right or behind me to pick up that flag and keep moving forward.

King George had plenty of assets in the colonies to keep track of the colonists.

Also, don’t naturally assume that either of those two agencies are completely bought and paid for; and for that matter don’t assume that the military would heil obama either.

Americans have been desensitized to intolerance. Mostly as a result of the Civil Rights Act and employers fear of being sued, the workplace conditions people to tolerate the intolerable or lose their jobs. Tolerating the intolerable is an epidemic in America. I agree that we are WAY past the point of no return. If we can accept a Marxist, Muslim, gay illegal alien president, we'll accept anything beyond that and we have. George Washington would be disgusted that we are more obsessed with our toys and goodies and keeping our jobs than we are the fate of America. We're more worried about being called a racist for questioning 0bama and his protected class minions than we are ensuring our children have an America to live in tomorrow. Washington walked away from a cushy life on his farm and risked death in battle numerous times to oust Tyranny from America.

The story of the 33 year old reporter who crashed into a tree is very chilling. There is more evidence he was working on exposing details of 0bama's police state. I have no doubts this guy was 'taken out' and that his car was electronically commandeered by someone else.

Absolutely! A rev could be considered to be a CW but as I noted in another post, the way they are prosecuted is entirely different. An AmRev2 makes more sense. We should not be seceding but moving to reestablish the Constitution and the Republic, to reset the current ruling class from rulers to servants of the people. This is about resetting the powers they have currently stolen from the states and the people.

I wouldn’t bother with a reply in the future. He/she posts these 3 words often. It’s like a kind of spam, though I don’t know the purpose. And he/she doesn’t respond to anyone either as far as I’ve seen.
