if she really loved the kid she’d fight to help him out of that. not fight to have the sin legalized and celebrated.

This is also a Mormon issue (sorry in advance to our LDS Freepers, but it is the truth).
The LDS organization has officially sided with the homosexuals.
I received this in response to an inquiry I sent regarding the BSA:
“While we believe that marriage is only between a man and a woman, we are not opposed to gay and lesbian as many claim; we believe in strict morality before marriage, regardless of sexual orientation.”
We need to stand tigether. And I am willing to do so.
As it is, my exeriecnes, activities, and record speak for themselves. I stand...have stood...and will stand for liberty. I also answer to God. If God's teels me to do something, I will do it. Each of us has to judge personally in our hearts what that is.
God's speed to you in your efforts, and may He be with us all.
I have kids of my own who have turned away from the Lord and the teachings of their youth. They know we love them, and that they are welcome at tour home. They also know, and respect, that certian of their behavior is nott to be brought home...amd they do not.
Our prayers, and our love remain steadfast for them...and they know it, and why.
I understand completely...and believe that your friends are taking the path that will provide their son a way home should he ever turn from that life style...and I will pray as well that he does.

To attempt to paint millions of people of a particular faith with a brush as you are doing, as I said, simply plays into the hands of those seeking to divide us.

They DO lie to you Jeff. They lie to you, cheat you, steal money and time from you, and now are steering you on a hard left political course that you will follow if you do not come out and be free.

This “my son/daughter/cousin/friend/fill in the blank is gay so I favor blanket ‘gay rights’ demands” is really, really annoying. A principle or policy is either right or it’s wrong because it deals with everyone.
NOTHING says they can’t love their son whether he’s gay or straight. Exactly when did 14 year olds become committed to a sexual orientation? When I was 14 no one (of repute, as they say) had sexual experiences to know what their orientation was, much less to be committed.
Marriage is either between a man and a woman or it’s just an unanchored floating relationship between two or more people of whatever sex (or whatever species for that matter).
Because Jordan is not sexually active, he holds an Aaronic priesthood in the church, which means he can pass the sacrament in a ceremony akin to a Catholic communion.
The support this poor kid needs is a psychologist before his temptation past into action.

I say that, because ... Long ago ... a Mormon friend was not allowed to go to his daughter's wedding in a Mormon temple because ... he drank coffee.
