This vessel was loaded in Saudi Arabia and bound for Singapore when it split apart off Mumbai on Monday June 17. I highly doubt that there was any relation to Syrian rebels and / or the arms being shipped to them.

Now that all the Mediterranean lined Muslim nations have had their leadership changed to more fanatical religious Islamic zealots, it appears advanced logistics operations are underway to SE Asia to begin Islamic revolutions in their arena.

Dude. Reagan gave Sadam Hussein nerve gas and the mujahadeen stingers. This is how we do it. It’s all good business and good strategy. I’m not saying we should give them stingers and chemical weapons by the way but small arms with a limited useful service life are AOK IMO.

Likely extremely high waves that had a wavelength that exactly matched the length of the ship - the bow and stern got propped up by waves, with the center of the vessel out of the water, and it cracked.

This had been a common occurence of the coast of South Africa. Supertanker sized ships too large for the Suez Canal were broke in two by the “Cape Rollers”.

Yes... static noise is abundant on FR these days. There’s virtually no evidence of the ship’s container contents. None whatsoever. In other words, this thread is a yawner.

Thank you for dealing in fact.

It is amazing to me how many ships and containers are lost at sea each year. Though this is a significant event it seems not to be all that infrequent. Ships have rough lives and it is also surprising how relatively short their lives are.

Most military equipment is moved via car hauler (containers included)Like this one. photo alliance_zpsdc893ffc.jpg Only US flagged ships carry US military equipment.

I wonder where Israel’s subs are at this time. No need for a torpedo—a small charge at the keel-— or a special torpedo with a controled—small charge. Russia has such things. I hope no one lost their lives in the “Mishap”. I wonder if Putin is smiling now?

I wish this were true, but I suspect it’s not.

Having read the responses to the thread, I agree.

One thing about FR is that it is a Truth Crucible. Any topic will have experts reading it that will set the record straight.

But that doesn't mean we can't have a bit of fun in the meantime.

Thanks all. Unless there is contrary evidence, I believe this one can be laid to rest. Still, it was worth posting to find out.

This is from the GCaptain web site. It says the ship broke in two off Yemen.
