Look up internet pages for who were “the Rus” - the founders of what we now call Russia.
They were Germanic, a “Varangian” subset of Vikings by way of Sweden (before it was called Sweden).
Tartars are related to the Turks, Mongols and Manchus.

The findings on the Russians don’t surprise me, because the Varangians, who ruled Russia for centuries, were Scandinavian, not Slavic.

In fact Russians are coming in three different types.
First, or ‘original’ are actually very close to Swedes, thus they are taller, a little big boned in their pelvis and their hair is a bit darker.
Second group are actually Asians. They are predominant group in relatively populous parts of Siberia.
Tatars are actually making a third ‘pure’ group.
To be honest clean types like this are very rare today, regular Russian is usually a mix of all the above.
Russian girls often have asian-looking eyes, there is plenty of mixed blood over there.

The “Nashi” group (it means “Ours” but sounds awfully close to Nazi) made up mostly of blond Russians, hold their marches while flying red banners with a black hammer & sickle inside a white circle, again very similar to the Nazi party flag.
I wonder if the underground cartoon “Octobriana” is a hit with these folks. That blond Amazon with the red star on her forehead.
