Might be a Nigerian type scam?
I have a nickname that is, under a variant spelling, usually male. I use it almost exclusively and have since I was 18.
In 1961, I received a notice to register for the draft. It may have come from a compilation of HS graduate names, I don’t know.
I simply called the number that was provided and explained that I was (obviously) female. They said “Never mind.”
A MA family got a threatening letter in 2001. In 1994 the twin brothers made up a name to get a free ice cream sundae. Apparently the establishment writes off freebies and provides the forms to the IRS who shared it with DoD.
Nope, girly name.

I would suspect this letter is a scam. The online registration process does not require a BC.

Dunno. Sounds scammy. But after the announcement by Norway they plan to DRAFT women into the armed forces I still expect the scumbags over here to do that too.

Evidently, I don’t have a Birth Certificate. I’m told that it was stolen by a Kenyan scammer by the name of Barack Obama. Evidently this person is collecting other people’s Birth certificates for some sort of Nigerian Scam.
Please arrest him.
