Israel PM Netanyahu: US, France, UK Allowed The Holocaust

Jerusalem, Israel --- June 15, 2013 … Part of the following was communicated by the Israel Prime Minister's Office to the Israel News Agency.
Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, made the following remarks on Thursday at the dedication ceremony for the permanent pavilion at Block 27 at Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp.
"The leaders of the Allies (UK, US, France) knew about the Holocaust in real time. They understood exactly what was happening in the death camps. They were asked to act, they could have acted, and they did not. To we Jews the lesson is clear. We must not be complacent in the face of threats of annihilation. We must not bury our heads in the sand or allow others to do the work for us.
From here, the place that attests to the desire to destroy us, I, the Prime Minister of Israel, the state of the Jewish People, say to all the nations of the world: The State of Israel will do whatever is necessary to prevent another holocaust."
Netanyahu made the comments as other Israeli government ministers, Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage Bogdan Zdrojewski, Director of the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum Piotr Cywinski, Chairman of the Yad Vashem Directorate and exhibition curator Avner Shalev, Chairman of the Yad Vashem Council Rabbi Israel Meir Lau and Holocaust survivors looked on.
A definition of "Holocaust Shoah" is written on the wall of the exhibition foyer. As the visitor leaves the entrance, and enters this hallway in Auschwitz-Birkenau, the senses are suffused with the words and melody of prayer - a Jewish and universal expression of the human spirit. Upon entering the adjoining space, visitors are engulfed in an enveloping 360-degree cinematic montage of original footage of Jewish life between the two world wars. Following this sweeping panorama, visitors are confronted with the central tenets of Nazi German racist ideology, the main motivation behind the Germans' imperative of annihilating the Jewish people.
Netanyahu stated that the "so-called" Iranian presidential election will "change nothing" in the Islamic republic's quest for nuclear weapons and that the regime will continue to pursue a bomb aimed at destroying Israel.
"This is a regime that is building nuclear weapons with the expressed purpose to annihilate Israel's 6 million Jews," Netanyahu said, alluding to the number of Jews killed by the Nazis during World War II. "We will not allow this to happen. We will never allow another Holocaust."

Just think, IF Netanyahu was born in Kenya, he could be our president now.
The arguement is that they could have bombed the rail
lines to the camps and even the camps themselves.
The allies focus was the destruction of the Nazi war

He was at the Holocaust memorial but his comments should also be taken in light of the current situation: the US is arming al Qaeda to overthrow Syria, Israel will soon be surrounded by Muslim Brotherhood countries put in place by...the West. He is telegraphing that if another 6 day war onslaught is tried Israel will stop at NOTHING to prevent their being pushed into the sea. Damascus is said to be destroyed in a single day, Isaiah 17. Israel knows with ObamaMuslim they are alone and the world has been warned.
Jews supported FDR with 90% of their votes in 1940 and 1945, which improved over the 82% in 1932, and the 85% in 1936, he was their guy.
I don’t know how my father was voting, he was pretty tied up with the war during that time, as the American Navy was fighting for survival.

That's my thinking as well.Also,I've heard it said that the decision was made at the highest levels that,given the circumstances,the best way to help the Jews was to win the war.I'm no military strategy expert (highest rank attained=SP5) but that sounds like a logical...realistic...approach.

Granted my history is thin for this era, but as I currently understand it, Eastern European Jews began heavily immigrating to the U.S. in the 1880s. This wave of Jewish immigration was responsible for bring socialism to the U.S. and making it flourish in the unions. American natives got tired of it and pressured Congress to pass the Emergency Immigration Act of 1921 which heavily restricted new immigrants.
The SS St. Louis sailed from Germany in May 1939 carrying 936 (mainly German) Jewish refugees. On 4 June 1939, it was also refused permission to unload on orders of President Roosevelt as the ship waited in the Caribbean Sea between Florida and Cuba. Initially, Roosevelt showed limited willingness to take in some of those on board. But the Immigration Act of 1921 made that illegal and public opinion was strongly opposed. The ship returned to Europe. 620 of the passengers were eventually accepted in continental Europe, of these only 365 survived the Holocaust.
The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 (Hart-Celler Act, INS, Act of 1965, Pub.L. 89–236) abolished the National Origins Formula that had been in place in the U.S. since the Emergency Quota Act of 1921. I would dare say if France and England actually did something to help Poland in her hour of need, as they had promised, they could have at least slowed down Hitler.
