CO-GOV: Hickenlooper picked a lousy time for a campaign party (Could blue CO go red again?)
Conservative Intel ^ | 6/14/13 | David Freddoso

Is “Blue Colorado” in danger of flipping back to Red?

Until recently, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, D, was quite a popular figure in his state. No longer. Quinnipiac now has his approvals below 50 percent, and he’s slightly underwater with independents. Voters also disapprove of the Democratic state legislature, which recently enacted strict gun control laws (and whose Senate leader is now subject to a recall effort) 49 percent to 36 percent approving...

A 2010 style tidal wave to wipe the leftist freaks and their pedophile enabling speaker off the map? We can only hope

The state could turn ‘red’ again. The Dem margins of victory in the state are modest to minuscule.

The last time I looked there were more registered Rs in Colorado than Dems, and more Independent voters than Dem.

I’ll look again to see if this is still true...unless someone beats me to it. ;^)

I have lived in Colorado all of my life and I have watched the State go down the turlet. Probably due to the influx of people from California who where fleeing the state; ironically to get away from the run-away goverment. At least that is what they claim.

So, Democrats have been in a mad frenzy to try to pass all of their favorites with little resistance knowing that they might get booted the next time around. Let hope that the voters wake up.

Hick really screwed up the capital punishment case. He just made both sides mad. He also signed every hare-brained bill the legislature sent him, no matter how bad.

I think you’re right on. I think the gun grabbers are to be thanked in advance for Colo. turning red in 2014.

All of Obama’s scandals are going to hurt the rats big time.

Colorado still has more “R’s.” The reason for turning blue is some rich Dems moved here and have been dumping massive sums of money into state races that traditionally attracted little funding. It also hurt that the tea party saddled us with bad candidates for Senate and Governor last time. The Guv candidate was a real gem - barely cracked 10% of the vote.
