No kidding, having to click on the thread and not finding a hint, and being told to go watch a video to find out what a thread is about, or the name, or whatever this is supposed to be, is definitely kiddyland stuff.

I sit at a computer all day at the office working and do these little rants during my lunch break. So I cannot stand to sit at a computer and type any more. As you can tell, I am thinking out loud, not reading notes.
I realize that you and a few others resent that for some reason but I do have subscribers who appreciate it. I would rather not have to have such antagonistic exchanges with people who I would assume are on the same political, conservative side.
We share exactly the same sentiments about the future.
Many conservatives, and more broadly the republicans seem to push aside the idea that the US as founded may be finished and is now on the downward spiral.
At worst they see perhaps a great deal of damage done and that political pendulum will once again swing the other direction and we can save it.
I would say that from my perspective the pendulum has been spending most of it's swing time over liberal ground, and every election, even though more republicans may get elected or the balance changes in on house or the other, even the presidency, the train has not changed tracks. It still heads for socialist oblivion along the same vain as Western Europe.
I've been politically engaged since the Nam war, and even before I could vote, and I saw Cronkite and others attempting to change the playbook. I saw efforts in the 60s to convince school kids that the Constitution was a living document and can and should be updated, even to the point of writing a new one.
Now we see what we see today.....the administration and it's zealots are slowly convincing the American public the everything is great and we are making new record highs in the markets...Obama has done it!
Then you look around....and you say what???? Whatchu talkin bout Willis?? More people are idle and existing on government help then ever before. Slightly over half of the jobs belong to the government of either federal, state or local. Even as a percentage of our economy at any time in the past, this has never happened or was even contemplated..
People for the first time ever in the country fear the government and the Government for the first time ever does not appear to fear it's public and continues to blatantly do things that the public is not in favor of yet they are given a total free pass by the media and nearly everyone on the street...
You are right.....It's over...There is no going back from this and frankly if this is the way it's going to be, then I am checking out of this hotel and setting up a defensive position until such time as someone calls for a offensive action. But I don't see that happening. The government does...which is why over the past five years they have armed themselves domestically and are still doing increasing that strength with taxpayer dollars, or better said borrowed money.
So now I think we are living on borrowed time. I think we should admit it and deal with it accordingly. If we do, then maybe we can salvage part of it.
