Here is the issue: While it may not be reflective of the majority of Muslims, it is reflective of doctrine preached in Islam. The majority of Muslims who are not inherently violent, are equally as complicit because they do not take the responsibility to root out the extremists. I believe the reason they don’t is because 1. They are very clear that there is only one version of Islam, and that doctrine includes the non-tolerance of other beliefs, 2. Muslims are more loyal to Islam than they are to their civic duty, 3. They will not admit to anything that may portray Islam in a negative light, so therefore, they would rather remain silent and defend Islam after terror attacks with these “This is not Islam” platitudes, than to root out the extremists.

For as long as Muslims regard their doctrine to be untouchable, and their loyalty lies with Islam over their fellow humans, the so-called peaceful majority will be equally as complicit as those who swing the swords and detonate the bombs. If Islamic doctrine was truly in conflict with what the extremists are doing, the moderates would have taken the responsibility to work with authorities in every country the live in to help them root out the terrorists. But they don’t, and in the countries that are ruled by Islam and Shariah law, terror is practised against the citizens of those countries to keep them in line with Islamic doctrine.

I don’t buy this moderate Islam story for a second. The evidence shows the opposite, and until we don’t see a massive change in how “moderate” Muslims act and react, nothing will change my mind.

I heard ‘Yusuf Islam’ (Cat Stevens) on the radio the other day tearfully wailing about whirled peas in an old song.
I always think of the Walrus weeping copiously for the oysters when I read or hear one of these “Why can’t we all just get along?” muzzie agitprop pieces.
Finally, there was an article from the English Defence League—considered to be an extremist group there— here the other day along the lines of, “We may have an Islam problem ... “.

I like the show ‘Kitchen Nightmares, UK” but was hoping to smell the blood of an Englishman today so I could pose the question, “What does ‘Taking the piss’ mean?”

They’re right, it’s not “reflective” of Islam. That would imply that you were looking at an image of Islam, when in actuality, this barbaric act most definitely IS Islam itself - you’re looking DIRECTLY at it when you see these animals doing things like this.
