Apparently Democrats Think Avoiding Taxes Legally Is Now a Crime...

Apple made business decisions that saved it billions in taxes. What was so illegal about doing such a thing? Nothing, absolutely nothing, but don't tell that to the Democrats...

They’re getting the idea from the EUSSR and that entity’s crusade against “tax havens”. The EUSSR equates tax avoidance with tax evasion.

How DARE you comply with the tax laws! Don’t you know you’re supposed to send in billions more than you’re required to? All the Congressional Democrats do.....oh, wait....

Shoot, even the IRS says in so many words (not that it wouldn’t be so if they didn’t acknowledge it, but if even THEY admit it....) that tax avoidance is perfectly legitimate. I don’t believe that the statement went into detail such as keeping money offshore, but was just a general acknowledgement that you’re not required to ignore the tax laws until they come back and clobber you.

By spending millions that conservatives gave him to defeat the Marxist in Chief to instead defeat a conservative primary opponent. Cost him some unprecedented amount like $20 a vote or something. In reality, he should be in jail for fraud for taking conservative money and throwing the 2008 POTUS election, then using the money to move the Senate left (or keep it from moving right).

What I can't figure out is Flake (the guy newly elected to replace John Kyl). He had reasonably good conservative creds, and now he's pimping for amnesty like that shameless gaffer McShame. Are we now going to have to put up with THIS guy stabbing conservatives yet somehow getting reelected for decades? I was really looking forward to the Senior [citizen] senator finally retiring or keeling over at his desk, and now we have this guy, so it may end up not even being a net gain.

Yet the Kennedys got / get a pass for their profits and nobody complains.

Steve Jobs directed that no advertising be placed on Fox, then the Democratic controlled media turned on his company.

I thought the whole point of the tax code was to allow Democrats to social engineer.

Well, doesn't that require people to take action to avoid high taxes in order for it to work?

F### you Apple! You all supported the National Socialist Democrats and now you find out that they don’t just want your left nut; they want all of your equipment. Why would anyone feel sorry for them, they got what they voted for and/or supported.

FUBO, FAD, down with the democrat party.

It’s only a crime if you’ve done something to offend the Dear Leader.

Just as in any other totalitarian-statist gulag.

Welcome to 0bamastan.

amd they don’t personally take’every deduction, credit, and itemization to reduce their tax payments?’’they’ve never deliberately planned things like deffered compensation, been paid a certain way to reduce taxes, donated stuff for deductions, hired family to work for them to shelter money that way, put money in trusts, put untaxed money in retirement plans, gifted money to others they don’t have to pay tax on, hired family as business expense write-offs, etc?

effing hypocrites.

Avoiding them legally is wrong!! If you just decide on your own illegally to not pay them, then you are eligible for a Cabinet position. Ok, that makes sense.

People vote for the myth, not the man - and McCain has a very powerful one.

Tax dodgers who skip the country are the same as draft dodgers who skip the country.

Hey, it's legal.

Don’t forget John F. Kerry moved his yacht from MA to RI to avoid $550K in taxes!

as my Federal Taxation professor said, “Tax evasion is illegal, tax avoidance is legal”—that’s what tax planning is all about!
