CIA Before Rice Went on Talk Shows:Attacks "Linked to Ansar al-Sharia," Al-Qaeda;Rice Knowingly Lied

Susan Rice went on Sunday talk shows on September 16, 2012 to proclaim that there was no evidence linking the attacks in Benghazi to terrorism...

She told ABC on September 16 (emphasis mine):

"But our current best assessment, based on the information that we have at present, is that, in fact, what this began as, it was a spontaneous — not a premeditated — response to what had transpired in Cairo. In Cairo, as you know, a few hours earlier, there was a violent protest that was undertaken in reaction to this very offensive video that was disseminated."
And she told CBS (emphasis mine):
"We do not– we do not have information at present that leads us to conclude that this was premeditated or preplanned."
No information whatsoever? That's interesting because, based on CIA documents and emails released today, Rice's statement was, without a doubt, a bald-faced lie...

In fact, on September 14, the talking points read, in part:

"Islamic extremists participated in the violent demonstrations."

Attack "linked... to Ansar al-Sharia."

"The Agency has produced numerous pieces on the threat of extremists linked to al-Qaeda in Benghazi and eastern Libya."

We were warned on "September 10... of demonstration."

The e-mails also clearly state that the talking points were heavily revised by the State Dept. and that references to Al-Q were scrubbed.

I only have one question

WHO came up with the idea to blame the attack on the video ?

That idea was pulled out of thin air.

I looked at the Dept of State’s press releases the day of and the day prior to Benghazi.

IIRC, around 12:00 midnight, state released a statement regarding the demonstrations in Cairo, and pinned them to this stupid video. An AP reporter, picked that up and wrote a piece about the Cairo demonstrations.

Someone at either State and or the White House decided to tie this together. I still can’t confirm the Cairo demonstrations were a reaction to the video or if it was just used by that reporter.

Why did Hillary and Obama, using hard-earned American tax dollars, have to put out a commercial in the Middle East apologizing for that baloney video when they KNEW it had nothing to do with the attack? Everybody knows the underlying theme that the Democrats covered up Benghazi to get Obama re-elected, but why did they put out that commercial in the Middle East? There was nobody there to vote in our election. And using American taxpayer money to make a baloney commercial for a political coverup is a felony.

They used the Cairo protests “reportedly due to this obscure video” as cover for Benghazi. It was brainstormed during the Saturday session between the State Dept and the National Secuirty Team (White House).
