Big Guy Isn't Familiar, Doesn't Know, It's Really Hard...
Michelle Obama's Mirror ^ | 5-1-2013 | MOTUS

Posted on 05/01/2013 8:33:12 AM PDT by NOBO2012

Four years, 100 days into his Presidency, and our lap dogs the Press has finally begun to notice a few of the things about Big Guy that his critics have been complaining about since day WON: His alluring peevishness and complete lack of accountability – both on display at yesterday’s anti-news presser.

          167805904167802631

Big Guy weaseled on the definition of using chemical weapons and what the meaning of a “red line” was. He proved that he really doesn’t watch Fox News:

“Ed, I’m not familiar with this notion that anybody has been blocked from testifying.”

Then he blamed Congress for forcing him to sign a bill to put the FAA controllers back to work that he really, really didn’t agree with and didn’t want to approve:

JONATHAN KARL: Why’d you go along with it?
THE PRESIDENT: Hold on a second.
(SNIP)

But, Jonathon, you seem to suggest that somehow these folks over there have no responsibilities and that my job is to somehow get them to behave. That’s their job. They’re elected -- members of Congress are elected in order to do what’s right for their constituencies and for the American people.

I wonder if anyone feels that his very fine point also applies to the Presidency?

Anyway, even some of our most reliable Legacy Lap Dogs were nipping at BO’s heels yesterday:

NPR's Scott Horsley reports.

SCOTT HORSLEY, BYLINE: In recent weeks, we've seen President Obama looking angry one day, determined the next. Today, the president looked hamstrung. Faced with bad actors abroad and political dysfunction in Washington, Obama repeatedly turned to variations of - it's hard, it's difficult, it's tough. (snip)

HORSLEY: Obama credited the FBI and other law enforcement for their quick response to the Boston Marathon bombing two weeks ago, but with renewed questions about intelligence gathering, he also said the government's conducting a full review to see if warning signs were missed before the attack.

OBAMA: Based on what I've seen so far, the FBI performed its duties. Department of Homeland Security did what it was supposed to be doing. But this is hard stuff.

Whoa! Et tu, NPR? Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

As BO went on to explain, no one has ever worked as hard before, on such hard stuff. Oh sure, George W Bush might have said something about the presidency being a hard job too, butt the MSM thought it was all a big joke back then. Now they see it as historic.

Still, it looks like some of our stalwarts think BO should be trying a little harder:

bo peevish

WaPo’s Dana Milbank pointed out that the President was out of sorts from the start:

It’s never a good sign for a president when he feels compelled to assure the public he still has a pulse. (snip)

Back in 1995, Bill Clinton assured Americans that he was still relevant; this may be the first time a president asserted that he was still alive.

Ouch! That smarted a little.

Still, Obamacare seems to be doing swell, right Mr. Ms.NBC, Chuck Todd?

Mr. President, thank you. Max Baucus, Democratic Senator, referred to the implementation as your health care law as a potential train wreck…

Big Guy handled this opening for a bunt like the informed advocate of Obamacare he is:

…even if we do everything perfectly, there will still be glitches and bumps,

Got that? There may be bumps in the road. And they might be us.

obama-americans-bumps-road-obama-indifferent-political-poster-1308064821An interesting take on women’s health care

And for the 85 to 90 percent of Americans who already have health insurance, they’re already experiencing most of the benefits of the Affordable Care Act even if they don’t know it. [ed. True. The disadvantages will be revealed over time and include higher taxes, higher – much higher – premiums, more – much more – paperwork, and harder to schedule – much harder – appointments.]

(SNIP)

Anyway, I guess Daryl Issa was watching the presser – and apparently Fox News as well:

Issa issued this statement on President Obama’s whistleblower response:

A lawyer for Benghazi whistleblowers has publicly stated that the State Department is blocking her client’s ability to talk freely with counsel. Over the past two weeks, I have sent four letters requesting that this Administration make information available about how lawyers – who already have security clearances and are representing Benghazi whistleblowers – can be cleared to fully hear their clients’ stories. I have yet to receive any response from the Obama Administration.

Even if the President really doesn’t know anything about someone wanting to come forward, his position should be that whistleblowers deserve protection and that anyone who has different information about Benghazi is free to come forward to Congress. The President’s unwillingness to commit himself to protecting whistleblowers only aids those in his Administration who are intimidating them.

Stay tuned, because now Big Guy wants to get to the bottom of this too.

I hope he is in trouble finally but I doubt it. We are probably basking in some form of euphoria or wishful thinking and he will recover.

Big crisis coming in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

“Ed, I’m not familiar with this notion that anybody has been blocked from testifying.”

Dipstick didn't address the question, which of course wasn't testifying it was allowing attorneys reasonable access to information that would allow them to adequately represent their whistleblower clients.

This was lost on soooo many people.

Slowly, but surely, even the libs are beginning to realize that not only does the dork have no clothes, he also has
1) no cojones
2) no intelligence
3) no documentable background
4) no morals
5) no judgement
6) no definable ability to perform useful work of any kind

Harvard, you’ve got a lot of ‘splainin’ to do.

Q: Mr president, do you have a difficult time making decisions?

A: Uh, well, yes and no and it depends. Let me be perfectly clear that until I have all of the facts, and I've studied all of the political and sociological ramifications, my decision making is sometimes subject to change but only in regard to the will of the American people and........(answer continues for another 10 minutes)

Yeah, the first benefit I noticed was the nearly 100% increase in my premiums from 2009 to 2013. The next benefit I noticed was the reduction in coverage that I got for that increase in premium.
