Former St. Joseph County Democratic party Chairman Butch Morgan, Jr. was found guilty of felony conspiracy counts to commit petition fraud and forgery, and former county Board of Elections worker Dustin Blythe was found guilty of felony forgery counts and falsely making a petition, after being accused of fabricating signatures on petitions that enabled Senator Barack Obama, to get on the presidential primary ballot in 2008. The finding means that Obama lacked sufficient valid signatures to qualify.
Obama’s 2008 campaign manager, David Plouffe, labeled the convictions “irrelevant and of no consequence. Look, we’re talking about a few hundred forged signatures in one Indiana county. In the end, 69 million votes were recorded for Barack Obama. He was clearly the choice of a majority of Americans. What’s the difference if there were a few minor irregularities in the process on his way to the presidency?”
Plouffe said hoped that “the punishment for these two longtime Democratic Party stalwarts wouldn’t be too harsh. I think we have to consider intent. Election rules can be complex and picayune. The time spent complying could be put to better use doing something else. These officials were only trying to enable the most qualified person to succeed. Since that intent was fulfilled we should forgive any missteps that occurred.”

I'd bet my last dollar that these two convicted cheats pulled off other cheating and fraud tactics to help their man to a tainted narrow victory in Indiana in the 2008 general election vs. McCain.
The direct victim of this particular fraud in the 2008 Indiana 'Rat presidential primary was Hillary Rodham Clinton. Wonder what she'll have to say about these convictions. Well, I can already guess that she will say absolutely nothing, since she needs the 'Rat fraud machine in her planned 2016 presidential run.

It matters because he would not have been a candidate in that district, and those “few hundred forged signatures” were symptomatic of statewide fraud, so he might not have been a candidate in that state. It matters because this stuff goes on in every state. These just happen to be the ones who got caught.
You're absolutely correct. You may have a shutout in baseball or football, but you can't have one in a free and fair election in any district or precinct with more than a handful of voters. Even in predominantly black districts, there are obviously at least a small percentage of voters who detest Obama.
Those reports of districts going 100% for Obama should have raised red flags to the roof at Romney campaign headquarters and at the RNC. Reporting such numbers was not a mistake. It was deliberate cheating on the part of the 'Rat operatives, who in some instances kicked out opposition poll workers. Yet I have seen no statement from the Romney campaign nor any other Republican group addressing this.
You can't win a presidential election with this massive degree of cheating and fraud perpetrated by an opposition with no respect for the fairness of the process!!!
Which begs the question why. Last time Mc-we-don't-have-to-be-afraid-of-Obama was pimping for him and this time election impossibilites are ignored. Nothing to see. Just another coinky dinks that only happen around hussein.
Will someone please check the vote talley in St Joe county for both 08 and 12. Want to know how can they not find enough registered voters to sign the petition to put him on the ballot but he wins the county. Does the decertification of a certain brand of voting machine make a significant difference in 2012 then the one used in 2008?
