Is everyone bought off by the Illegal Alien Lobbyists????
TheTownCrier ^ | April 25, 2013 | TheTownCrier

Posted on 04/25/2013 9:24:29 AM PDT by AuntB

TheTownCrier had a disagreement with a radio host yesterday.

His guest was a state representative, a republican, who has introduced a bill to give illegal aliens drivers license. Their conversation was polite with no objection to the bill by the host.

I commented to the host that the lawmaker should have been given some challenge about this...why doesn't the lawmaker promote existing immigration law, instead of rewarding illegal behavior.

The host, usually a fair chap, decided to get ALL righteous and indignant, informing me how stupid I was...that a mere state rep can't do anything about federal law.

BALDERDASH! The excuses are getting old...and dangerous! If that were true, he ought to butt out and not defy 'federal law' instead of pushing a state bill to reward aliens! If he can inject himself into NON enforcement, he can inject himself to push enforcement as well!

First, this state is overrun with illegal alien gangbangers. It is considered one of four sanctuary states out of 50. Drive by shootings, stabbings, rapes, and graffiti ALL over the place, every day, armed Mexican drug cartels growing plantations on our public lands....800 miles from the border.

And what does our REPUBLICAN/CONSERVATIVE State Rep, Dennis Richardson do...REWARD THE LAWBREAKERS instead with the privilege to drive legally while in the country ....

ILLEGALLY!

This UNDERMINES federal law....which says I must show a birth certificate, be a CITIZEN of the USA to get a driver's license! It violates a federal identification law enacted to protect national security after the 2001 terrorist attacks.

Arizona state reps passed laws to control illegal alien lawlessness in their state. As did Kansas, Oklahoma, Georgia and other states. ALL AT A STATE LEVEL. New Mexico is still trying to repeal giving licenses to illegal aliens...at least they are TRYING!

[snip]Governor Martinez contends that New Mexico’s license system is subject to widespread fraud. In fact, the state has brought charges against several crime rings, in which brokers were paid to supplement fraudulent documents for foreign nationals from Poland, China, Mexico and other countries. Additionally, a review of license data conducted by a national news wire reveals that dozens of address have been used over and over again by immigrants to get driver’s licenses in New Mexico. Though limited, the probe identified 170 addresses in New Mexico at which 10 or more licenses have been issued to different foreign nationals from 2003 through 2011."

We need representatives who stand for the rule of law and US/State sovereignty instead of buckling, as the radio host said, because the state is controlled by liberals. Shall we all just give up and let the country go, because we are outnumbered? NOT very American! Shame!

Report: 40 states passed immigration legislation in 2011 ...

[snip](Reuters) - Nearly 250 new immigration laws and resolutions were enacted in 40 states during the first half of 2011 indicating a growing frustration with the federal government's handling of the issue, according to a new report. The laws range from hiring restrictions to voter identification and allowing in-state tuition for illegal immigrants, according to the report released Tuesday by the National Conference of State Legislatures. The numbers show a slight decrease in activity from last year, but every state and Puerto Rico proposed legislation dealing on the issue in the first six months of 2011.

"Immigration impacts every policy issue there is, and people are trying to figure out how to manage it, for better or for worse, because the federal government won't." Among the findings in the report, released during the council's annual meeting in San Antonio: ** 14 states included funding for immigration initiatives in their budgets. ** Governors vetoed 12 pieces of legislation, including bills related to social services and immigration. ** Ten states enacted legislation requiring businesses or contractors to use the government E-Verify program to ensure the legal status of workers. ** Five states -- Alabama, Georgia, Utah, Indiana and South Carolina -- enacted omnibus laws inspired by Arizona's 2010 law, which gave police the power to enforce immigration. All have been challenged in court. ** 19 states passed 38 laws addressing law enforcement. ** Georgia, Kansas, Texas, and Vermont created or strengthened state human trafficking laws. ** Three states - Alabama, Kansas and Utah - passed voter ID bills dealing with immigration.[snip]

The Fiscal Burden of Illegal Aliens on Oregonians (2012) Major cuts had to be made in the state's 2012-13 budget to pare back spending for schools and social safety net programs to overcome a revenue shortfall of $3.5 billion. This report identifies more than $1 billion in annual fiscal costs borne by the state's taxpayers because of illegal immigration. State lawmakers have available the means to reduce that burden. This study examines what the estimated 170,000 illegal aliens and an additional 64,000 U.S.-born children of illegal aliens cost Oregonians.

* K–12 Education Costs About $575 Million * Supplemental English Instruction About $159 Million * Justice and Law Enforcement (includes policing, court and prison costs) About $140 Million * Health Care and Social Assistance About $125 Million

The average Oregon household headed by a U.S. citizen pays about $728 annually to cover the costs of the state's illegal alien population. The estimated tax revenue from illegal aliens is about $77 million — 7.3 percent of the estimated burden. Illegal aliens pay relatively little in taxes... http://towncriernews.blogspot.com/search?q=oregon+sanctuary+state

What I find most curious is the pro enforcement stand of this very same legislator stated just a few years ago....

"A major failure in the 74th session was the complete lack of Immigration reform. We introduced a number of immigration reforms to strengthen Oregon’s laws on illegal immigration. Unfortunately, none were allowed to pass through the system and become law. Oregon still needs to implement proof of citizenship before someone is allowed to vote or obtain a driver’s license. ............... We also introduced legislation to require proof of legal presence for state benefits, and to allow state agency employees to report those who cannot provide valid proof of legal presence to federal immigration authorities. We also sought to prohibit state agencies and businesses having state contracts from hiring illegal immigrants (HB 3554) ..... While I am on the subject of Illegal Immigration, to protect public safety, we unsuccessfully attempted to pass HB 3553 which would have allowed law enforcement to investigate and detain violators of federal immigration laws and would have empowered Oregon district attorneys to transfer illegal immigrants convicted of crimes to federal immigration authorities. The failure to deal with Illegal Immigration at both the state and the federal levels is, in my opinion, a dereliction of duty by our elected officials." http://oregoncatalyst.com/671-Rep-Richardson-Final-Legislative-Report.html

It's "the servant problem".

The movers and shakers of society really like the idea of cheap labor. Americans who own homes, pay taxes and expect to live long enough to collect social security are not considered ideal workers -- they charge too much for their labor.

The movers and the shakers need a supply of people who don't demand benefits (gov't freebies are good enough!), don't pay taxes (big savings right there) and don't expect to live forever -- that kind of labor is gold, baby!

Wonder what the movers and shakers will do when us greedy American workers can no longer afford te goods their cheap labor provides?

THey are like gathering eagles, Obama is corrupting each one of them one by one, until they get “Power to the Soviets” United to crush the citizenry. Check it out, “Power to welfare themselves through the end of a barrel”, they have chosen Barabas Napolitano to do whatever she wants over sanity... and don’t start with me on the collective of gays waiting to get out their terrorist closet once the AlQaeda cover is over with.

Behind every “be nice to immigrants” model is a “you are racist and fear mongering a$$ hole” gangster rude language for anyone bringing up objections behind the obvious usage of charity by ravenous black birds.

It’s so cute, the crow is smart and takes my bread like a sweet turtle dove... only then to gang up and kill them along with endangered species like the Bald Eagle itself.

This is the new face of Amerika... Cackling crows in congress acting cute.

AuntB ~:” Is everyone bought off by the Illegal Alien Lobbyists????,”

No ,.. some of our representatives are doing it for free ,.. and you get to pay for it !
Whatever happened to the great immigration DEBATE that John Mc Lame promised us ?
All of this ‘insider’ and backroom deals are getting too plentiful , and are not representative of a republic.
The voice of the people is not being heard.
What we need is a nationwide referendum , or more frequent elections to get rid of the jerks !!

Indeed, not only that, but this abuse of charity is ongoing as per the Boston bombing. BUT NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! we cannot bring our fraudulent “comipassionate” charities in the equations.

Rubio’s mommy after all is running the show, now. Can’t insult that, but can insult us.

That's the essence of it. Add in the money and influence they pour on the political class in D.C. and we have the witches brew that is now before us.

Truth of the matter is: IF YOU AND I DECIDED TO RUN A CULT WITH 10,000 wives from Mexico to create our own new nation, they would object.

This is all balderdash selling booze and condoms and multiculturalness and kumbaya promises in exchange for our properties and guns, period.

Dum a$$ Americans are getting had like blacks in Africa or Indians. OH, WE BLAME TPARTY for hating gays (a lie) or hating the American Indians or illegals.

BULL SH!!!TT. We were never against liberating and freeing the Mexicans from their own corrupt government but they certainly are in their UN arms treaty charade AGENDA21 intent on keeping MExicans disarmed and brainwashed by TV peer pressure.

WE want sanity in DC, but we will not have it. These people are utter incompetent losers.

Let me say, I don’t buy into their ultimate Agenda21 plantation. They do not like our gun jurisdiction, so to speak.

They perfectly know they are buying a whore of a collective of emotional politicking in favor of a proper language. It is complete anarchy promotion. Well, Fortuna it is then.

The collective is only “suyperior” in how it can be mass brain washed and screwed over. If tomorrow Mexicans with guns allied with a citizenry with guns to promote the Constitution and do away with the present government occupation, I tell you what, IMMIGRATION WOULD BECOME A NO NO for them.

It is the manner of intent and language that they have that is wrong, period.

They are a bunch of vile coward hypocrites.

That’s good news, GraceG. I do like Beck, I get frustrated because he, Levin, Hannity or Rush refuses to put the blame where it belongs, specifically Grover Norquist. Rush was gushing over Karl Rove this am...Grover’s best partner in crime.

Nice analysis by Numbers USA this morning:

The Senate Judiciary Committee held two hearings earlier this week in advance of marking up the Gang of Eight’s comprehensive amnesty bill. The first was a nearly 8-hour long marathon with a parade of witnesses from Big Business to Big Labor to Special Interest groups with just a few witnesses sprinkled in to testify about the need for more interior enforcement, better border security, and the huge fiscal drain that an amnesty would have on the nation’s future.

The following day, the Committee brought in DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano.

Here’s what we learned. . .

NUMBER ONE

Every part of the bill was written as though America is facing a severe labor shortage crisis. Monday’s hearing featured one industry spokesperson after another who testified that Americans from high-school drop outs to the laid off engineer were either too lazy or too uneducated to fill U.S. labor needs at the wages being offered. The only guarantees in the bill concern large increases in the pool of available foreign workers, including millions of illegal workers who receive amnesty.

NUMBER TWO

The legalization comes first. There are no hard enforcement triggers for the initial amnesty (legalization + work permits). Chris Crane, ICE Officer and President of the National ICE Council testified to that on Monday. No one disputed that point and it has been reported in the press.

NUMBER THREE

Sen. Schumer and company called Sen. Rubio’s bluff: Back in January, Rubio promised, “If, in fact, this bill does not have real triggers in there...if there is not language in this bill that guarantees that nothing else will happen unless these enforcement mechanisms are in place, I won’t support it.”

Since the bill has been available to read, Rubio has issued repeated statements that are contradicted by his own legislation and by Schumer.

NUMBER FOUR

No one seems capable of explaining what will happen to future illegal aliens if the bill passes (see Roy’s blog).

The bill excludes post-December 31, 2011 illegal aliens. What happens to them? The bill also calls for expanded guest worker programs. What happens to the guest workers who don’t go home when their work visa expires?

Will the administration ramp up interior enforcement to detect and remove illegal aliens not covered by the bill? Or will the administration adopt the “attrition through enforcement” approach both the White House and Gang of Eight have decried? Or will the bill preserve the status quo immigration enforcement that gives “prosecutorial discretion” to non-violent aliens unlawfully residing and working in the country, thus building up a new illegal population to be amnestied at a later date? The bill doesn’t say. The bill’s authors won’t say.

AMNESTY TWO ISSUES NEVER TOUCHED

ACTIVE FR’S IF YOU SEE ANY CREDITABLE REPORTS OF PROBLEMS AMERICAN CITIZENS ARE HAVING WHILE LIVING IN MEXICO PLEASE POST THEM.....

(1) When is the treatment of American citizens in Mexico and their rights vs US treatment of Mexicans going to be an issue when we discuss amnesty ?

Here are three questions:that has yet to appear on any US legislator’s questionaire from either chamber

ASK YOUR FEDERAL LEGISLATORS WHY IT HASN’T

Issue One

!...Should Mexican citizens when in the US be given the same rights American citizens are given while in Mexico? .......

2.. The Mexican government through public statements and educational system lays claims to major portions or all of some of our southwestern states as part of the Mexican state . Are we asking for trouble by granting their illegals an expressed path to our citizenship laying the groundwork for “squatters rights” at some future date ?

3... If it is deemed necessary to supplement the US labor force by allowing itinerant labor should the individual states make the determiniation as to the number should the offer being needed ? And should that offer not be restricted simply to Mexican nationals but to other central and south American countries as well ?

Issue 2

What makes it necessary for US to subjugate our sovereignty because of available cheap labor ? While the Godless Demo-Coms socialists encourage population control and abortion . Then complain the US is not reproducing enough citizens to replace its aging retiring workforce. But rely on (as the Romans did) on foreigners (barbarians) .to keep their welfare ponzie schemes supplied with tax money and keep the system working.....

On the Mexican problem

Ever hear of reciprocal aggrements ? These are arranged to protect the rights of American citizens working or living in other countries.

Why is it when it comes to citizens of other countries we are required to offer them the same privledges as we do to US citizens? But when it comes to US citizens who get in trouble or attempt to do business in other countries they do not get the same treatment their citizens get.

Americans can’t own coast land in Mexico. And get no title to it elsewhere. If they run out of cash they’ll get unceremoniously sent back or put in jail untill some relative comes up with the “fresh”. That’s just for starters as for granting them voting privledges yea let’s give Mexican citizens that right when American citizens vote in their elections .
