But what difference, at this point, does [voter fraud] make?

It makes a huge difference to me. Personally, I think Glenn Beck got it right when he said you only get to vote if you have something in the game. He even offered 1 vote if you pay $1-$10,000 in federal income taxes, 2 votes for $10,001-20,000, 3 votes for $20,001-$30,000 and so on up to a max of 5 votes. When someone on welfare is on TV telling people to vote for Obozo because HE gave her a free cell phone, something is way outta whack in this country. My feeling: If you can fog a mirror, but you're still on unemployment comp or welfare, you show up for a gov't job cleaning toilets and sweeping the streets. This free lunch crap has to stop.

You didn’t recognize Hilderbeast’s quote? Oh well....

In any case, when I now appear at the polls I take the paper ballot. I then take a Sharpy and write “LIARS & FRAUDS” across both sides before turning it in. I no longer participate in the fraud that US elections have become.

Colonial VA had a similar system. Free white men owning 25 developed or 50 undeveloped acres could vote.

The Framers discussed property/wealth minimums at the Constitutional Convention, but decided to leave it to the States. Near universal freeholder suffrage was thought essential, but to check the wild bills expected from the House of Representatives, a Senate composed of the States was devised. Unfortunately, the 17th Amendment turned their carefully designed system on its head.

Repeal of the 17th is the first step to restoration of limited government.
