In just the short period of time since Tamerlan Tsarnaev was filled with lead and run-over by his team-player brother with an SUV, there's already emerged startling info that indicates Tsarnaev is someone the FBI should have been keeping a keen eye on, esp. considering THEY were the ones that told his mother Tamerlan was a 'extremist leader' and tracked him for five years.

• The Tsarnaev brothers posted jihadi statements, propaganda, and videos online recently- after Tamerlan had already been on FBI watch-lists for years. Under his own name, he featured videos on his YouTube page such as sermons by Australian Islamist kook Feiz Mohammad, who has called for the 'beheading' of Geert Wilders.

• Putin's people warned us about Tamerlan Tsarnaev as early as 2007, yet after all that monitoring and red flags galore, the FBI suddenly decided he wasn't a threat in 2011- we sure need to know who made that fateful decision- and why. 

• The Russians were convinced Tsarnaev was in direct contact with terrorist elements in Dagestan/Chechnya... still nothing.

• Then in early 2012 Tsaraev traveled mysteriously to Dagestan and Chechnya for six months, arriving back at JFK with 'a full beard'... but DHS was too busy spying on Republican bloggers to concern themselves with what sort of thinking/skills this known radical returned to our shores with.

Typically, rather than learn from their endless mistakes -even ones that cost lives- the Obama White House will be surely engage in blame-shifting as they stubbornly double-down on a clueless, dream-world view that already forces the FBI to purge  ALL cultural/religious references to Islam from their training materials, basically ignoring the reality of what drives these people to commit heinous acts against us in the first place- and rendering investigators unable to discuss the case in any sort of logical fashion.

If Obama and his politically-handcuffed FBI couldn't save us from this guy, might have been nice if somebody had caught the loco piece of crap the time he (allegedly!) offed his best friend and two others with an ice-pick: alas, somehow the police never even suspected him- could have saved a whole lot of innocent life and limb last week in Boston if they had.

BUT I'm happy to report Republicans have seemingly woken-up and are going after this bizarre, incompetent regime this time: the House committee on Homeland Security has already sent a pointed letter to National Intelligence Director James Clapper, Big Sis (DHS), and Robert Meuller (FBI) that inquires as to
WHAT the federal government knew about Tamerlan Tsarnaev... HOW he was allowed to operate freely as a terrorist in our country... and WHY it took days to identify him from numerous photos taken of him on the day of the attack.

Go for the throat boys: after Benghazi and now this everybody and his dog can see that Americans are not being kept safe by Barack Obama and his politicized, militarized Department of Homeland Security... we deserve -nay, demand- better.

At the same time let's ask how, even without the help of foreign governments, these two terrorists could have been missed by the FBI after they've spent the last three freaking years creating and posting jihadist videos on YouTube.

And let's ask officials about the White House forcing the FBI to purge so much investigative documentation on Muslims for the sake of political correctness.

And let's ask the FBI how it was possible that they knew about the Al Qaeda web site that provided the written instructions to create these pressure-cooker bombs, yet they didn't track the IP addresses of those who visited that site.
