Dedicated to grunts who fought radical Islam at First Chechen War 1994-1996 (also Serbian troops, Indian Army, IDF who fought Islamists prior to 9/11 before US joined War on Terror).

Except we never did join it against the Chechen branch of Al Qeida. (except to wail and moan as to how the Russians should stop all military moves against them)
WE still side with them,, in full knowledge that they are fully connected to the ones we briefly fought before switching to nation building.

But i better be quiet, some people call it unpatriotic to point out things like how we are supporting, and itching to fight on the side of, the same Syrian rebels who just swore allegiance to Al Qeida.
And it’s downright forbidden to remind anyone that they are bankrolled by the Saudis (in exchange for not doing it there of course).

Good video, but that guy at 1:37, shooting the flamethrower was in a USMC uniform, circa WWII. Camo helmet cover, on a US pot. Herringbone uniform, leggings and humping an M2A1 flamethrower.
Judging from the photo, i guess he’s a reinactor.

Do you Know Why?
