Bill Maher: “The Role Model for Every President Should be Jimmy Carter”
NewsBusters ^ | April 13, 2013 | 14:16 | Noel Sheppard

Bill Maher has said a lot of REALLY dumb things throughout his career, but this howler uttered with a straight face on HBO’s Real Time Friday might possibly be his stupidest. …

America needs to start defining peace as strength. Do you know who the role model for every president should be? Jimmy Carter. Because he is the one out of all of them who figured out how to sit in office for four years and never fire a shot. And every President’s negative example should be Dick Cheney who even shot his friends in the face. …
Ignoring his poor economic record and staying with the issue Maher was focusing on, Carter’s handling of Iran could conceivably be the biggest foreign policy blunder of any man to sit in the White House. …

Very true, and very indicative of...you know.

Too bad that the collective memory of just how thoroughly rotten life was under Jimmy Carter has faded from certainly the majority of folks. Nobody who was alive and sentient back then can possibly pine for those fjords. For those who see him without having lived in those times, he seems like a cheerful old gentleman, kinda like a grandfatherly type, who would never hurt anyone.

I will give 0bama credit though, in a sick way: He’s made it seem like the US is a much more diseased corpse than it seemed then. Back then it seemed like we were pretty ill, but just sick and we might get better at some point. Not only does it seem sicker now, but it seems like every damn parasite in the known universe; with no shortage of them on the inside, is salivating over picking clean any scrap of meat the decaying corpse might yield.

Funny enough, I was watching Zero Dark Thirty with my teenage daughter earlier this evening and she asked how long we’ve been at war.

I told her almost 12 years since 9-11, but also that the war really goes back at least as far as Carter selling out the Shah in the late 70s.

Having survived a bit of stuff, long prior to Carter’s Folly; my stated opinion on these two, is well founded. None the less, it’s just my opinion. I deeply agree that... “the conditions weren’t as ripe for engaging in the agenda.” Well said, Olag-hai.

I said that if the Big Zero got elected he would make Jimmy Carter look like a great President. It was sarcasm.

No gas, no jobs, no toilet paper, no heat and Americans held hostage perpetually.
Bill Maher's idea of Utopia.

Crisis of Confidence? Those were the good old days. (The famous malaise speech.) What a great leader he was. What a great comedian Bill Maher is. They deserve each other.

I want Steven Stamkos to fire a slap shot at Maher’s head,SANS helmet.

Actually, any of the Tampa Bay Lightning players would do. Perhaps their affiliate team, the Syracuse Crunch could do it as well.

Of course it is. Looking at the Democrat presidents over the last 50 years and the bar is just not that high.

Here's the real skinny.

Maher is playing the Libtards for all their worth by feeding them what they want to hear.
And he's doing a damn good job at it, and being paid handsomely for it also.

Now the flip side.
Who did he date? Ann Coulter. What does she do? The same thing to the opposite side.
She made the mistake of endorsing the wrong person which outed her.

Fortunately for Marr his following could care less if he endorsed Reagan II
as long as he trashes him following month.

Considering the stunning Iranian success in Operation Eagle Claw, maybe Carter should have done less.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and timeless as infinity. It is below ground and lies in the blackness of the blackest shadow, between science and superstition. It lives in the pit of man's fear and reality. It's the dimension of BILLY AND JIMMY. It is an area we call the Twilight Zone."

The question we should be asking is, “Who is Bill Maher?”

Stop posting about these nearly career dead liberal morons.

I agree. Everyone was struggling to put food on the table and clothes on their backs. Ah, the good old days.
