Um, in the context it [demoralize] is about morale... not, directly, morals.

1. to deprive (a person or persons) of spirit, courage, discipline, etc.; destroy the morale of: The continuous barrage demoralized the infantry.
2. to throw (a person) into disorder or confusion; bewilder: We were so demoralized by that one wrong turn that we were lost for hours.
3. to corrupt or undermine the morals of.
That said, yes there is a lot of moral training/correction/discipline needed, but "going to church" isn't the answer, [us] being the church is.
The NWO is of course going to happen, otherwise Revelation is wrong (though it might not be a government [or religion] as we view it). The point is that the whole world is going to be arrayed against Jesus and try to fight Him... and they lose.
To be honest morals and morale aren’t that disconnected. People of high morale are usually moral and people of low morale just opposite.
These words are same-root for a reason.
