Wrong - my position is not that only certain individuals have rights but that all individuals do.
Your problem is you're balled up in this false conflict between 'individualism' and 'community' ~ they are not in conflict.
They certainly are when the community tells the individual that even behind the closed doors of his home he can't engage in certain activities because the community thinks he shouldn't.
