A new ad campaign has been launched to extend medical coverage to illegal aliens in the state of California.
The California Endowment, a private foundation that advocates for affordable healthcare, wants county-run Medicaid expansion programs called Low-Income Health Programs to be "retooled" to provide insurance for this population - well over 1 million people!
Just what the people of California need, right? First they cut tuition assistance for citizen students by $1.2 billion.
Then they made illegal aliens eligible for in-state tuition and financial aid, with AB131 - signed by Gov. Jerry Brown.
Then tuition assistance was cut for members of the military by sequestration - affected tens of thousands of whom live in California.
Now, this week we learned that 20,000 illegal aliens have signed up for tuition assistance in the state - costing taxpayers an estimated $65 million per year - so far - while at the same time the state closed 70 parks at a cost of a mere $11 million.
Citizens get the shaft, and illegal aliens get VIP treatment - that is America's Sanctuary State.
But now they want even more: free healthcare coverage - on the taxpayer's dime again (of course). Note that unpaid medical bills from illegal aliens already cost California hospitals $1.25 billion per year. But no matter...California will likely cave in and give even more to their new prized non-citizen constituency. Because in Sacramento the inmates are truly running the asylum.

what’s the ‘affordable’ range for someone with negative net income and a net draw on taxpayers?
It is subversion. Plain and simple.
And in the same month we cut tuition assistance for military folk.
They can walk or crawl into any county hospital to drop a baby, reset and cast a broken leg, patch up a bullet hole, and only have to say “medicaid”...no money at all...how can you make that better? Register them to vote? give them a Driver’s license? File an EITC return for them?
Affordable = Free
ObamaCare is anything but affordable health care.
It’s lousy healthcare at a much higher price than was paid before ObamaCare passed.
It’s really fun to watch my socialist friends twist in the wind as their cherished core ideology is confronted by the stark reality of the health care disaster we are facing.
The only thing they really seem to care about is how badly they are getting screwed by having to pay more for less.
Guess they though only the evil greedy conservatives would be adversely affected by ObamaCare

Mexicans are a very unhealthy population. The have a very high incidence of diabetes. Mexicans in California are noticeably fatter than Mexicans in Mexico. Also, I hate the way that they demand services. They don’t ask or say “please’. All they say is “gimme gimme gimme.”
Calif also recently started charging $125 per home per year in ‘rural areas’ for fire fighting. Rural ‘areas’ also include small towns..YES, the entire town!....that aren’t even anywhere near forests.
Illegal aliens simply have superior rights to the natives.
History does repeat itself, and our culture will disappear just like any other place in history that has been marginalized.
Fund the commercial to run in all 50 states and watch the backlash build and Amnesty 2.0 go down in flames.

This last election was land shift election that was not fully appreciated by many voters, especially Democrat voters.
Previously in American politics, the fault lines were based on Democrat/Republican, Black/White, Management/Union, Conservative/Liberal, Abortion/ProLife, Women in workplace/ Traditional Family, and other common political themes.
The rise of a huge number of people receiving Government , taxpayer funded Entitlements combined with the influx of huge numbers of illegal aliens wanting free government handouts(40 million or more) and voting with Third World Populist Voting patterns, have recast the political battle lines along a new dynamic.
That dynamic is the so called The Makers vs the Takers.
The makers are those people who go to work every day, work hard and pay their taxes.
The Takers are those able bodied people who want a government funded free ride on the system and actually have $60,000/year life styles based signing up for the multitude of government entitlement give away program and who will vote as many times as needed in any given election to keep having their freebies redistributed to them from assets the government seizes from the Makers.
A large number of Democrat Voters did not understand this new paradigm in American Politics and let their ideology sway their vote.
As a result, the productive members of our society are now at risk of becoming slaves to the takers and the politicians who pander to the takers.
I hear there is very affordable housing south of the border.

Yep, and illegal aliens in Maryland helped pass gay marriage because it was placed on the ballot with the in-state tuition measure and they were promised "partnership benefits" for the partner of gay illegal aliens. If these hispanics are "socially conservative", I'd hate to see what "socially liberal" looks like...
“AFFORDABLE” = FREE
American taxpayers pick up the tab.
