Tea Party group wonders if CPAC has been compromised by the Muslim Brotherhood

Conservatives confronted with the Republican Party's "stupid party" image after the November 2012 election will be gathering on March 14-16 for the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington. CPAC is an annual, 3-day gathering of conservative activists and political leaders who network and set the tone of the conservative political agenda.

This year, CPAC has not been without controversy . Box Turtle Bulletin's Timothy Kinkaid has pointed out that gays — and in particular, GOProud — are banned from any formal role because of the cries of the Family Research Council and other religious right activists. Chris Christie, the popular governor of New Jersey, has not been asked to speak, presumably due to his vocal approval of President Obama's handling of the Sandy hurricane disaster shortly before the 2012 election, but Sarah Palin and Allen West, controversial Republican figures, have been invited.

The latest is a Tea Party group wondering if CPAC has been compromised by the Muslim Brotherhood.

"PolitiChickTV" interviewed JihadWatch.org's Robert Spencer, who complained "about the blatant blacklisting of anyone who speaks out against the threat of Islam in America at the GOP convention CPAC, including Pamela Gellar, Frank Gaffney and himself."

In a video published on March 4, PolitiChick Ann-Marie Murrell expressed her confusion about why Spencer, "who is trying to help our country" would be "shut out" of CPAC. "What is your reaction to that?" she asked.

"That is a result of more Muslim Brotherhood influence," Spencer answered....

When the democrats decided to remove God or any reference to Our Creator at their 2012 convention. They also demonstrated they are no longer the democratic party of your father’s father. They have become a hyphenated radical unit and should be known as Demo-Coms dedicated to the establishment of a collective idealism using the device of PCP to modify behavior and shed beliefs that they believe would impede remaking their concept of the perfect utopian state. That is hardly democratic because the word democrat idealizes the individual voice.

But Rove, GOPES (GOP Elite Snobs) and RINOS lack the capacity or the understanding or the courage to point to the historic radicalization that occured at that moment and use it politically. Worse yet they are unable to forthrightly defend what the demo-coms have set out to destroy and some are even comming up with their own version of PCP . Anyone preaching PCP is going down the poisonous road to oblivion . Following a policy of PCP. Politically Correct Politics which the hyphenated democrat party, the Demo-Coms,is using is flat out wrong.Worse yet moral questions such as marriage, sexual practices, family constituency and particularly beliefs those of containing Judeo Christian tenets are being assulted and not defended. That offers a majority of voters no choice in the direction this country is to take.

PCP when used by the Demo-Coms such terms as: Afro-American, Hispanic-American, Asian-American, White-American, Rich-American ,Gay-American, are more than simply nouns but vehicles used to separate US from each other. Beside separating US from our money the Demo-Coms demand we become adhearents to a system without the constituional constraints on government. Thus surrendering our protections from governmental abuses and excessive bureacracy to the will of a bureaucratic collective which is no longer answerable to the average citizen.

Sadly for the Republicans God remains in Limbo

I believe it is and was proper to recognize that USA-Americans are from various/different races, different nationalities and other corresponding differences such as religion. As a second generation American citizen and having served in WWII I have no problem with having my lineage recognized as a Euro-American or even as a Russian-American. I believe much of the societal problems in the USA today are exemplified in the difference between what is in USA generally taken as a ‘Melting pot’ where all individual history is lost for/to the characteristic of commonality. My preference as a second generation USA-American is to view the USA as a ‘Melding pot’ where all the lineages are blended together to form that Constitutional entity noted as a ‘more perfect Union’. I see and feel that in today’s political/social environment the context of ‘a more perfect Union’ is being compromised by our politicians and courts to the causes of what are truly foreign influences. I am especially concerned with the Islam/Muslim influence that has been permitted to build influence and power beyond an intent/goal to ‘meld’ that ‘more perfect Union’ as It’s proclaimed goal is conquest not merely ‘melding’ politically with our established Constitution.

Why is it that it seems that no matter what is discussed, someone tries to bring up other tangent subjects? I was talking about Norguist and you bring up GOPProud... Not seeing the connection here... One is about Muslim activity and the other is about Homosexuals (Sorry I’m too old to describe them as gays - different era, different language). Why this question?

Let them all talk, so we can listen with our hearts. Then decide, where our walk lays. Time for talk is well past. No biggie. Ain’t no different.

Never thought of it that way. I guess it’s all in how you play your cards. Then what card or hand trumps another.

First, thank you for your service. My late father fought in WWII.

But this hyphenated-American crap is just that....crap. It makes no sense why you would want to be identified as anything other than American.

That's the kind of thinking that keeps us from HAVING a true melting pot. Instead, we have a bunch of balkanized groups that want the benefits of living here while still holding to their country of origin's culture.

I can’t think of anything I have spoken about that would lead a logical person to believe let alone suggesting that I would in vulgar language ‘want to hang with muslim goat bumpers’. I suggest you reread what I said to find/understand that my views are antithetic to Islam/Muslims when compared to the intent of the Founders and their/our Constitution. I have been a longtime contributor to FR and it matters little to me that what I opine makes friends. It is the open and intelligent opinions that are given on FR that matter most to me. Your comments fall short of such a frame of reference.

Stop pushing crap. GOProud is a pro-homo agenda org, that’s it. Why even have a special organization advertising “We’re faggots who identify with sodomy”? Why not just be conservatives?

Their sole purpose is to get the GOP to embrace the homo agenda, which is happening at warp speed, no matter what the actual voters think.
