By now you have figured out that Armageddon did not occur on Friday and the dire warnings from the White House that the nation would essentially collapse were, shall we say, somewhat overstated.

That doesn’t mean however that the nation and American prosperity is in any less danger. Barackalypse Now is indeed upon us, and it has nothing to do with the Sequester. It has everything to do with the deranged economic policies of the Obama administration.

The story about Bernie Marcus is from July 2011. He mentions intimidation of businesses by this administration (having the IRS or SEC go after them if they speak out). I don’t suppose the situation has gotten any better since then.

And in UK Richard Branson started his business selling records off a barrow in London's East End street market.

Jerry Sanders came out of a Chicago orphanage, paid his way through college as a prize fighter and founded Advanced Micro Devices.

Oh come on. Who are you going to believe a couple of guys who started some billion dollar companies from nothing or the community organizer?

Leftist religion teaches that these two guys got rich by scamming people at the expense of other business owners who were unfairly penalized by not being as smart and capable as these two. We now have laws in place to prevent such scammers from taking advantage of their fellow business owners - who now have a fair chance to compete on a level playing field below a certain revenue target, above which the government will take all of their earnings to keep things fair.

America is much better off, now. /s
