As Krauthammer says in his 'Hail Armageddon!' column in today's WaPo, Barack Obama DESPERATELY needs for affects of sequester spending cuts to be harsh on the American public
-at least in their minds- or he loses. Thus, the bizarre claims from congressional drones i.e. Maxine Waters'
"170M jobs will be lost!", White House staff threatening journalists who dare speak the truth, and of course the
panic-mongering propaganda tour...
This isn't just some right-winger-clinger theory, a Democratic strategist came right-out and said it himself:
“The worst-case scenario for us,” a leading anti-budget-cuts lobbyist told The Post, “is the sequester hits and nothing bad really happens.”
Think about that. Worst case?
That a government drowning in debt should cut back by 2.2 percent — and the country survives. That a government now borrowing 35 cents of every dollar it spends reduces that borrowing by two cents “and nothing bad really happens.”
Oh, the humanity!
Yet HERE IT IS- why didn't we listen to
Dear Leader when we had the chance...?

My first furlough day will probably be April 26th.
The furlough will be a 20 percent reduction in pay for the year but I’ll do my part to reduce the budget. At least my department does things actually mentioned in the constitution (defense).

While my husband is happy about the cuts (he was Navy and retired after 37 years from DOD at STRATCOM, and was asked to open military contracting office near base) he had to let 3 men go this week. He does all he can to help them find work, but he really feels bad for them. He says he sees so much waste in defense, but also has to live with doing hard things.
Its so sad to see the ignorant people out there trusting obama and most of the media his propaganda machine. Woodward started a flicker of hope that miracles can happen. I'm praying for that.

Glenn Beck is hilarious today with Sequesterpocalypse. Planes are falling out of the air, houses are burning, power is shutting down which is a real problem because the sun went out at midnight. One of his crew can't talk because his microphone was repossessed. And the Four Horseman are pulling a wagon full of federal employees to hell.
